If you're having trouble logging in to Omnisend, your browser may be blocking our cookies. Omnisend requires your browser to accept third-party cookies to support login and account features.
This article explains how to enable them in the most common browsers, and covers additional causes of login failures.
Before You Begin
Check these common causes before adjusting your browser settings:
Browser extensions – Ad-blockers, privacy tools, and Brave Shields can block the cookies Omnisend needs. Temporarily disable your extensions and try logging in again.
VPN or restricted network – If you are connected to a VPN, disconnect it and retry. Corporate or restricted Wi-Fi can also block session cookies. In this case, you can try a mobile hotspot.
Incognito or private mode – Incognito mode is useful for ruling out cache issues. However, if you are logging in through Shopify, use a regular browser window instead, since incognito blocks the session cookies Shopify's login requires.
Log In Directly to Omnisend
If you access Omnisend through your Shopify admin and can't get in, you can log in directly at app.omnisend.com.
If your account was created through Shopify, use the same email address you use for your Shopify admin. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot your password on the login page and follow the instructions sent to that email.
Enable Third-party Cookies in Your Browser
Cookies are pieces of data stored by your browser so that websites and apps can recognize you from one visit to the next. They enable features like shopping carts and user account logins.
First-party cookies are set by the domain shown in your browser's address bar. Third-party cookies are set by domains other than the one you're visiting – in this case, omnisend.com. Some browsers block third-party cookies by default. Follow the steps below for your browser.
Google Chrome
In Chrome, go to Settings.
In the left-hand menu, select Privacy & Security → Third-party cookies.
Select Allow third-party cookies.
Opera
Go to Opera's settings.
Click Privacy & security.
Uncheck Block third-party cookies and site data.
Safari
Open Safari, click Safari in the top navigation bar, and choose Settings.
Select the Privacy tab.
To allow third-party/cross-site cookies, turn off Prevent cross-site tracking.
Microsoft Edge
In your browser window, open Settings and tap Cookies and Site permissions.
Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
From there, you can manage your cookie preferences.
Firefox
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, select Standard.
If using Custom, make sure Cookies is not set to All cross-site cookies. For fewer breakages, use Cross-site tracking cookies rather than blocking all cross-site cookies.
