Integrate Unbounce with Omnisend

Unbounce is a landing page builder that helps you create high-converting pages, pop-ups, and sticky bars to capture leads.

Connect it to Omnisend to automatically sync new leads from your Unbounce landing pages as contacts – perfect for lead nurturing sequences, welcome campaigns, and targeted follow-ups based on visitor data.


Before You Begin

  • The integration is available on all Omnisend plans.

  • Unbounce syncs new leads to Omnisend every 15 minutes (not real-time). Leads submitted between syncs will appear in the next polling cycle.

  • Important: Contacts synced from Unbounce are added with a non-subscribed status for both email and SMS. You'll need to collect marketing consent separately to send campaigns to these contacts.

How It Works

When you connect Unbounce to Omnisend:

  1. A visitor fills out a form on your Unbounce landing page and submits their details.

  2. Every 15 minutes, Omnisend checks Unbounce for new leads via API polling.

  3. For each new lead, Omnisend creates a contact profile with the submitted data, applies the tag "source: unbounce," and sets email and phone to non-subscribed status.

  4. You can then use the synced contact data for segmentation, tagging, and targeted campaigns (once consent is collected).

Example: A visitor submits your "Free eBook" landing page form at 2:05 PM. At 2:15 PM (next sync cycle), Omnisend detects the new lead and creates a contact record with their name, email, phone, location, age, and income. The contact is tagged "source: unbounce" and added to your "New Leads" segment.

Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for Unbounce → Click Connect Now.

Step 2. You'll be redirected to Unbounce to authorize the connection. Log in to your Unbounce account and click Allow Access.

Step 3. You'll see an automation for a New Lead. Enable it.

And that's it! Once enabled, your leads will start syncing to Omnisend!

To pass the email, make sure you collect an email with a field named email. Otherwise, contacts will not be passed.

FAQ

Can I sync leads from all my Unbounce pages?

Yes, leads are synced from all Unbounce pages.

Can I sync historical leads from before I connected?

No, the integration only syncs leads submitted after you connect Unbounce. Past submissions won't be imported.

What if a lead is already a contact in Omnisend?

Omnisend updates the existing contact profile with the latest data from Unbounce. The "source: unbounce" tag is added if not already present.

Why aren't leads appearing after 15 minutes?

Check that:

  1. You have new leads submitted after connecting to Unbounce.

  2. Make sure that email's field is named email.

  3. Your OAuth connection is still active (reconnect in Apps settings if needed).
