Connect Omnisend MCP to Claude

You can connect Omnisend to Claude using a custom connector. Once connected, Claude can access your Omnisend data and answer questions about your campaigns, automations, contacts, and performance.

The official Omnisend connector for Claude is coming soon and will be available directly in Claude's connector marketplace. Until then, use the custom connector setup below.


Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • An active Omnisend account

  • An active Claude account with access to custom connectors

  • Admin access to your Omnisend account

⚠️ Important: Use an Advanced or Thinking AI Model

Omnisend MCP works best with advanced or thinking AI models. Basic or fast models can give incomplete or inaccurate answers, even if your setup is correct.

How to Add Omnisend as a Custom Connector in Claude

  1. Open Claude.

  2. Click Customize in the left-side menu.

  3. Go to Connectors.

  4. Click +.

  5. Select Add custom connector.

  6. Enter the following details:

    • Name: Omnisend

    • URL: https://mcp.omnisend.com/mcp

  7. Click Add.

  8. Select the Omnisend connector.

  9. Click Connect.

  10. You will be redirected to the Omnisend authorization flow. Log in to your Omnisend account and approve the requested permissions.

Once connected, you can start asking Claude questions about your Omnisend data.

Test the Connection

Start a new conversation in Claude and ask a question that requires Omnisend data. For example:

  • How did my recent email campaigns perform?

  • Which automations generated the most revenue recently?

If Claude returns data from your account, the connection is working.

Troubleshooting

If the connector does not work:

  1. Check that the connector URL is entered correctly: https://mcp.omnisend.com/mcp

  2. Confirm you are logged in to the correct Omnisend account.

  3. Disconnect and reconnect the connector.

  4. Refresh Claude and try again.

  5. Verify that custom connectors are available in your Claude plan.
