Integrate KickoffLabs with Omnisend

Learn how to pass data from KickoffLabs to Omnisend

KickoffLabs is a viral campaign and lead generation platform that helps you run giveaways, referral programs, and waitlists to grow your audience. Connect it to Omnisend to trigger email or SMS workflows in real time when new leads sign up, get verified, generate referrals, or earn score changes – perfect for lead nurturing sequences, referral reward campaigns, and engagement-based follow-ups.


Before You Begin

  • Webhook functionality requires the Premium plan in KickoffLabs. If you're on a lower plan, upgrade your plan in KickoffLabs before proceeding.

Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for KickoffLabs → click Connect now.

Step 2. You'll see a list of supported integration features. Enable the ones you want to use:

  • New Lead

  • Referral

  • Score Change

Omnisend generates a unique webhook URL for each enabled integration feature. Keep this page open – you'll need these URLs in the next step.

Step 3. In KickoffLabs, go to SetupIntegrations.

Step 4. Find Webhooks (From KickoffLabs) and click Manage.

You'll see the Outbound Webhooks page listing all existing webhook entries. Click Add Another Outbound Webhook.

Step 5. In the Add New Webhook form:

  1. Paste the Omnisend webhook URL for your first enabled integration feature into the URL field.

  2. Select the matching event (e.g., New Lead Signup for the "New Lead" event).

  3. Click Save New Webhook. Repeat the same step for each event you enabled in Step 2. Each event requires its own outbound webhook entry in KickoffLabs.

Now, for the New Lead integration feature, select the following events in KickoffLabs:

  • New Lead Signup

  • Lead Verified

For Referral:

  • Referral

For Score Change:

  • Score Change

You need to add webhooks for each campaign in KickoffLabs.

And that's it! Once your webhooks are saved, KickoffLabs events will start triggering in Omnisend.

KickoffLabs – New Lead

Triggered when someone new signs up to your KickoffLabs campaign. All leads are included, regardless of exclusion status.

KickoffLabs – Verified

Triggered when a lead's email address or phone number is marked as verified.

KickoffLabs – Referral

Triggered when an existing lead successfully generates a new referral.

KickoffLabs – Score Change

Triggered when a lead's score changes (e.g., due to actions, referrals, or manual adjustments).

FAQ

Do I need a separate webhook entry for each event?

Yes, each Omnisend event (New Lead, Verified, Referral, Score Change) requires its own outbound webhook entry in KickoffLabs with the corresponding Omnisend webhook URL and event selection.

What's the difference between "New Lead" and "Verified"?

  • New Lead fires when anyone signs up to your campaign – verified or not.

  • Verified fires specifically when a lead confirms their email address or phone number.

Use both together to distinguish between all signups and confirmed contacts.

Can I sync historical lead data?

No. The integration only syncs events that occur after your webhooks are saved. Past leads and referrals won't be imported.

Why didn't my workflow trigger after a lead event?

Check the following:

  1. The correct Omnisend webhook URL is saved in the matching KickoffLabs webhook entry.

  2. The correct event is selected in the KickoffLabs webhook form.

If all is confirmed and the issue persists, disconnect and reconnect the KickoffLabs integration. If it still doesn't work, contact our Support Team.
