Refersion is an affiliate and influencer marketing platform that helps you manage affiliate programs, track conversions, and reward partners. Connect it to Omnisend to trigger email or SMS workflows in real time when affiliates are approved, or conversions are created, approved, or denied – perfect for affiliate onboarding sequences, conversion confirmation messages, and partner engagement campaigns.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for Refersion → Click Connect now.
Step 2. You'll see a list of supported integration features. Enable the ones you want to use:
Affiliate Approved;
Conversion Approved;
Conversion Pending;
Conversion Denied.
Omnisend generates unique webhook URLs for your enabled features. Keep this page open – you'll need these URLs in the next step.
Step 3. In Refersion, go to Account → Integrations → Webhooks in the left sidebar.
Step 4. Click + Add Endpoint. In the New Endpoint form:
Paste the Omnisend webhook URL into the Endpoint URL field.
Add an optional description (e.g., "Omnisend – Conversion Events").
Under Subscribe to events, select the events that match your enabled features (see below).
Click Create.
Repeat Step 4 for each feature group: create a separate endpoint for Affiliate features and a separate endpoint for Conversion features.
For the Affiliate Approved feature, select this event:
affiliate.created
For the Conversion Approved, Conversion Pending, and Conversion Denied features, select these events:
conversion.approved
conversion.created
conversion.denied
And that's it! Once your endpoints are created and the settings are saved in Omnisend, Refersion events will start triggering there.

FAQ
What triggers "Affiliate Approved"?
This event fires when a new affiliate is created in Refersion (affiliate.created). This includes both manually added affiliates and those who sign up through your affiliate portal and are approved.
Can I sync historical affiliate or conversion data?
No, the integration only syncs events that occur after your endpoints are created and active. Past affiliates and conversions won't be imported.
Why didn't my workflow trigger after a Refersion event? Check the following:
The correct Omnisend webhook URL is in the Endpoint URL field.
The correct events are selected under Subscribe to events for that endpoint.
If all is confirmed and the issue persists, check the Logs tab in Refersion → Webhooks to see if the payload was sent successfully. Contact our Support team if the issue continues.
