Outgrow is an interactive content platform that helps you build calculators, quizzes, polls, chatbots, and assessments to engage and qualify leads. Connect it to Omnisend to automatically sync contacts when visitors complete your Outgrow content – perfect for lead nurturing sequences, personalized follow-ups based on quiz results, and growing your Omnisend audience from interactive campaigns.
Before You Begin
You need an active Outgrow account with at least one published piece of content that is collecting leads.
The integration is available on all Omnisend plans.
You'll need Essentials plans in Outgrow for the integration to work.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for Outgrow → Click Connect now.
You'll see an integration feature called Contact Synchronization. Omnisend generates a unique webhook URL once it's enabled. Copy it – you'll need it in the next steps.
Step 2. In Outgrow, open the content piece you want to connect (calculator, quiz, chatbot, etc.). Go to the Configure tab → Integrations → Webhooks.
Step 3. In the Webhook Settings panel:
Toggle Status to on.
Paste your Omnisend webhook URL into the Webhook URL field.
Under Events to Send, enable Leads and set it to Completed.
Click Test & Save.
💡 Setting Leads to "Completed" ensures only fully submitted leads sync to Omnisend – not partial or abandoned sessions.
Repeat Steps 2–3 for each Outgrow content piece you want to connect.
And that's it! Once saved, completed Outgrow leads will sync to Omnisend in real time.
What Data Is Passed
Outgrow syncs the following fields to Omnisend contact profiles when a lead is completed:

FAQ
Do I need to configure the webhook for each content piece separately?
Yes – each Outgrow calculator, quiz, or chatbot requires its own webhook configuration under Configure → Integrations → Webhooks. Repeat the setup for every piece you want to connect.
Can I use quiz results or calculator outputs for personalization?
Yes – Outgrow syncs quiz answers, scores, and calculator results as custom properties. Use [[contact.custom_property_name]] in Omnisend emails to personalize messages based on what the lead answered or calculated.
Can I sync historical leads from before I connected?
No – the integration only syncs leads completed after the webhook is saved. Past submissions won't be imported.
What if a lead doesn't include an email address?
Contacts won't sync to Omnisend without an email address. Ensure your Outgrow content includes an email field marked as required.
Why didn't a contact sync after a completed submission?
Check the following:
Status is toggled on in the Webhook Settings.
The correct Omnisend webhook URL is in the Webhook URL field.
The lead includes an email address.
Reinstall an app.
Use the Recent Request & Response section in Outgrow's Webhook Settings to check if the submission was sent successfully (Status 200 = success). Contact our Support team if the issue persists.
