Written by Armintas Griežė

ProveSource helps you display website notifications based on visitor activity. Connect ProveSource to Omnisend to send contact form submissions as a custom event and synchronize the visitor’s contact information.

Benefits

  • Track contact submissions in Omnisend.

  • Synchronize contact details collected through your website forms.

  • Trigger Automation Workflows based on the Contact Submission event.

  • Use contact information for segmentation and follow-up activities.

How It Works

ProveSource uses its tracking code to monitor activity on your website. The code must be installed on every page where you want to track form submissions.

To send contact submissions to Omnisend:

  1. Install the ProveSource code on your website.

  2. In ProveSource, create a Stream notification and select Form Submissions under Track Events.

  3. Connect ProveSource to Omnisend using the Contact Submission integration feature's webhook that's generated in Omnisend.

  4. When a visitor submits a tracked form, ProveSource sends the submission data to Omnisend.

Omnisend synchronizes the visitor’s available contact information and triggers the ProveSource – Contact Submission custom event. The Email field is added with a Non-subscribed status.

Before You Begin

  • Install the ProveSource's code on your website.

  • Set up an active Stream notification on your website for Form Submissions.

To configure this notification in ProveSource, Create a new notification and select Form Submissions under Track Events.

  • Make sure you can access SettingsIntegrations in ProveSource.

  • Keep your ProveSource and Omnisend accounts open during setup.

Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for ProveSource → click Connect Now. Enable the Contact Submission feature and copy the webhook URL generated by Omnisend.

Step 2. In ProveSource, go to SettingsIntegrations. Find the Webhook Forwarding section.

Step 3. Paste the Omnisend webhook URL into the Webhook field → Click Test to verify the connection → Turn on the webhook toggle → Click Save Changes.

Step 4. Return to Omnisend and save the changes.

After the webhook is enabled, ProveSource sends contact submission data to Omnisend when a visitor submits a form tracked by the Stream notification.
