Gameball is a 3rd party app that allows you to challenge your customers, boost engagement with a game-like experience of earning points, collecting badges, and leveling up.
In this article, we explain how this application can be integrated with Omnisend and how you can benefit from it.

Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for Gameball → click Connect now.
The API key will be generated automatically. Click Copy API Key and proceed to the Gameball account.
Don't click the 'Confirm' button and don't close the page yet.
Step 2. In your Gameball Admin Dashboard, go to Apps → choose to Add New App.
Step 3. Choose Omnisend from the menu.
Step 4. Enter the API key that you have created in Omnisend.
Step 5. In the next window, you will see the data Gameball app is sending to Omnisend. Click Add to confirm the integration.
Step 6. Go back to the Gameball page in the Omnisend Apps and click Confirm.
Syncing Contacts to Omnisend
The integration immediately passes all of the data that has been collected in the Gameball app. For example, if you get a new player in our Gameball account.
As soon as the new player joins your program, their email address and the data collected will be passed to your Omnisend account.
Note: All your historical data will be synced, as well as all the data collected after the integration.
Send Emails to Gameball Contacts
Although Gameball passes contacts with subscribed status and adds the opt-in date, it doesn't trigger the default welcome automation.
To send automated welcome messages, you need to set up a Segment-based automation.
Values, such as the number of points or rank, can also be added to the content of your email message, using personalization tags.
In Omnisend, you can launch different automation workflows, offer discounts, and send messages via Email, SMS, and Push Notifications.
