Gratisfaction is a feature-rich app to help you grow sales, newsletter subscriptions, viral traffic, shares, referrals, sign-ups, followers, gain customer insights, brand engagement, loyalty, and more.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have Gratisfaction installed in your store and an Omnisend account.
The setup process detailed below is specifically outlined for Shopify stores; however, it is applicable and equivalent to any other website platform that supports Gratisfaction.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for Gratisfaction Loyalty Giveaway → click Connect now → Copy API key.
Step 2. Go to the Gratisfaction app menu → hover on the left-hand side → select Integrations → find Omnisend → enter the API key → click Validate.
If successful, you should see a confirmation pop-up.
Note: Contacts will be added to Omnisend only when "Newsletter action" is added to an active campaign and a customer engages with that action.
Step 3. Go back to Omnisend → check the box "I have completed all steps" → click Confirm.
Step 4. Create a new campaign or go to an existing one → go to the Earn step and add a Newsletter action.
Make sure to select Omnisend as a third-party integration.
Once selected, click Save.
Finally, update/publish your Campaign, and Omnisend will receive the customer's email address and subscription status as soon as they interact with the Newsletter action.
What Data is Passed
The integration passes the following fields to Omnisend:
Email
First name
Subscription status
Campaign-specific tag and '
source: gratisfaction' tag.
