Scratch & Win helps to increase your sales, newsletter subscribers, viral referral traffic, repeat visits, and engagement by showing a customizable scratch card anywhere on your website.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have Scratch & Win installed in your store.
The setup process detailed below is specifically outlined for Shopify stores; however, it is applicable and equivalent to any other ecommerce platform that supports Scratch & Win.
Setup Process
Step 1. Create an API key in Store settings → API → API keys. Learn how to Generate an API Key in Omnisend.
Step 2. Go to the Scratch & Win app menu → hover on the left-hand side → select Integrations → find Omnisend → enter the API key → click Validate & Save.
Step 3. Create a new campaign or select an existing one, then go to Settings → Lead form → Labels → Turn on "Newsletter and Marketing permissions" and Save.
Finally, update/publish your Campaign, and it will send the customer's email address and their subscription to Omnisend as soon as they interact with the Newsletter action.
What Data is Passed
The integration passes the following fields to Omnisend:
Email address
First name
Subscription status
Campaign-specific tag and '
source: scratch and win' tag.
Contact subscription status and tags will be passed to Omnisend only if they agree to Marketing messages by checking the relevant checkbox in the Scratch & Win app.
