The Environmental Impact Rewards app incentivizes new subscribers to your newsletter through environmental impact. Offer positive climate impact, such as tree planting, ocean-bound plastic recovery, and help planting as a reward for signing up for your newsletter. Spotlight your brand as a force for good and increase your subscribers simultaneously.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for Environmental Impact Rewards (Greenspark) → click Connect now → Copy API Key.
Step 2. Log in to your Greenspark dashboard and click Add Impact → select Manage next to Integrations and Automations.
Step 3. Select Omnisend under Integrations.
Step 4. In the pop-up window, add the API key created previously in Omnisend (Step 1), along with the Segment ID of one of your segments from Omnisend that you would like to sync to Greenspark.
How to Find Your Segment ID
In Omnisend, go to Audience → Segments.
Open the segment you want to use.
Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. It will follow this format:
app.omnisend.com/audience/segments/editor/**{segmentID}**?limit=25&lastId=...The string of characters between /editor/ and ?limit is your Segment ID.
Step 5. Proceed to creating automation. Make sure to select a tier for further impact settings.
Step 6. Select the amount of impact you'd like to attribute to your automation → select a date you'd like for the integration to start under Schedule → press Save.
Step 7. In Omnisend, check the box I have completed all the steps and click Confirm.
All done! Now, when a new contact enters the segment you have added on Step 5, you'll see the environmental change reflected in Reports in Greenspark admin.
Use Case
At the moment, this integration works one-way, meaning we only sync data from Omnisend to Greenspark; it is not possible to sync data back to Omnisend.
But you can download/take screenshots of your reports from Greenspark and add them to your Omnisend campaigns to send updates to your contacts about your environmental activities.
