Before you start
- This feature does not require any setup
- No limit on quantity of stored images
- Max size of uploaded image should be 5 MB
- Supported file formats are JPEG, PNG
- You can add GIFS using Image library
Step by step process
Right within the Content Editor for both, Campaigns and Automation, drag and drop any of the content blocks containing an image and select your image. To do so, click Select image in the sidebar, when the content block containing an image field is active.
You are then brought to your image library where all your images are stored. Here you can upload images from your computer or from a URL.
Once you select the image from your preferred source, it is placed in the email you are creating and, at the same time, it is stored in your Image Library.
You can access your Image Library by clicking on Select image or Replace image once the image is inserted:
From there you can insert any already stored image directly into your email by clicking Insert or choose to add more from your computer or URL.
If any of the uploaded images needs to be removed from the Image Library, simply click on the Trash icon next to it. This will automatically remove the image from your Image Library, but will leave it in all emails that you have already sent out and any drafts that you have already created.
Image content block
When building your email campaign or automation workflow, you have a possibility to use a single image content block.
It is very easy to set it up, just add an image you want to include in your message using our Image Library and adjust the settings to fit your brand's style. You can adjust Type, Style (use a different background), as well as top, bottom, left and right Padding:
You can also add an image as the background, but keep in mind that while they look good and make your newsletter stand out, some email service providers do not support this style element. Please check the list below to find out which ones do and which ones don't support this feature.
Once you are done with the settings, click save and see if the result is what you expected. You will also have an option to apply the current style to any other image content blocks you included in the same message.
