CartHook is a 3rd party app that offers a customizable one-page checkout and post-purchase one-click upsells for your Shopify stores.

When you integrate CartHook with Omnisend, CartHook will fire events on the checkout pages for every shopper that goes through your checkout, and will report all orders to Omnisend.
 

Before you start

Currently this integration is available for our Standard and Pro plan users who have a store on Shopify.
 

Setup process

Here is how you can integrate CartHook with Omnisend:

1. Go to Store settings in your Profile menu > click Connected Apps and click Connect new App

2.  Find CartHook on the list and click Connect

3. You will then need to complete three steps to connect CartHook to Omnisend:

   3.1 Copy your API key, that you created in Omnisend. You can create an API key by going to Store settings in your Profile menu > Integrations & API > API key > click Create API key

   3.2 Go to your CartHook account > Settings > select CartHook Tracking & Integrations

   3.3 Search for Omnisend app from the list > paste Omnisend API key > enable the integration.

Once you complete all the steps your connection will be enabled and your CartHook carts will be tracked by Omnisend. 

Note, if you still have Shopify carts on your store as well as CartHook carts, we will not track the default Shopify carts!
 

How it works

When you integrate CartHook with Omnisend, it allows you to track the carts that your clients abandoned via CartHook’s checkout flow. You don't need to take any more actions! All carts abandoned via CartHook checkout will work the same way as standard carts. Read more about Abandoned cart automation workflow with Omnisend. 

Important note: with CartHook integration sales will not be tracked for cart abandonment workflow automation.
