Gleam is a third-party rewards and competition app designed to help you grow your audience. This integration is available to all Omnisend users and Gleam users on the Pro plan or higher. By connecting Gleam with Omnisend, you can send new subscribers directly to your Omnisend audience in real time.

Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Gleam.io → Connect and copy your API key
Step 2. In Gleam, go to Settings → Integrations → Omnisend, paste your API key, choose a tag for synced contacts, and click Save Changes.
Step 3. Create a Competition (or go to an existing one) and add 'Subscribe to Our Newsletter' as one of the ways to enter your Gleam Competition. Click on the "Add Email Integration" button, and select Omnisend as the integration
You can override the default tag and even select a different Omnisend brand for each campaign. Custom fields are also supported, allowing you to pass additional contact data alongside the email address (including custom properties).
That's it! Integration is enabled, and every time a new customer enters your Gleam competition, their email address will be passed to Omnisend along with the tag and any fields that you've added.
What Data Is Passed to Omnisend
By default, Gleam sends the subscriber’s email address, a tag, and the contact's name to Omnisend.
You can also pass additional data by mapping fields in Gleam.

Welcome Email for Gleam Subscribers
To send welcome emails to contacts from Gleam, create a segment based on your Gleam tag (e.g. source: gleam.io).
Create a segment for contacts with the Gleam tag (e.g. All contacts whose tag is "source: gleam.io")
Create a Welcome automation. Go to Automation → New workflow → Welcome
Change the trigger to Contact enters a segment
Select your Gleam segment
You can also reuse a copy of an existing welcome workflow if you already have one.
