By default, Omnisend hosts your Landing Page Signup Forms on a shared Omnisend domain. Your landing pages will function normally without any additional setup. However, using a link domain for your Landing Page link allows you to replace the shared URL with your own custom subdomain.
This keeps your landing page URL aligned with your brand and creates a more trustworthy experience for your visitors.
Before You Begin
Branded link domains for Forms Landing Pages are available on all Omnisend plans.
You must have a verified link domain in Omnisend. If you haven't verified one yet, follow this guide first.
The same link domain can be used for Email Click Tracking, SMS Short Links, and Forms Landing Page.
What Is a Link Domain for Landing Page Forms?
When you create a Landing Page Signup Form in Omnisend, the form is hosted on a unique shareable URL. By default, this URL uses Omnisend's shared domain (e.g., https://omniform1.com/forms/v1/landingPage/yourbrandID/yourformID).
Link domain for Forms Landing Pages allows you to replace the shared domain with your own custom subdomain (for example, forms.yourbrand.com). This keeps your landing page URL consistent with your brand identity.
When a visitor accesses your Landing Page, they navigate to your branded URL (e.g., yourlinkdomain.com/forms/v1/landingPage/yourbrandID/yourformID).
Benefits
Build trust: Visitors see your brand name in the URL, which increases confidence and click-through rates.
Strengthen brand recognition: Every Landing Page visit reinforces your brand identity.
Professional appearance: Branded URLs look more polished and credible than generic shared links.
Consistent branding: Keep your domain aligned across email sending, link tracking, SMS, and landing pages.
Setup Process
Step 1. Set up and verify your link domain
If you haven't verified a link domain yet, follow our Set Up a Link Domain in Omnisend guide to add DNS records and complete verification.
💡 Already verified? Continue to Step 2.
Step 2. Ensure your link domain is assigned to Forms Landing Page
Once your link domain is verified, confirm it's assigned to Forms landing page:
Go to Store settings → Domains → Domain usage.
If you see Shared domain under Forms landing page, select your link domain from the dropdown menu.
If your domain is already selected, you're all set! Your branded domain will be used for all new Landing Pages you create.
Once your link domain is assigned to Forms Landing Pages, all your Landing Page Signup Forms will start being accessed through your branded domain instead of Omnisend’s shared domain.
Using Link Domain in Landing Page Forms
Once your link domain is verified and assigned to the Forms landing page, it will automatically be used for all new Landing Pages you create.
To test how your link domain is applied to your Landing Page forms, open the form using its URL and check the URL displayed in the browser’s address bar.
💡 Tips for using your branded Landing Page URL:
Add it to your Email Campaigns or Automation messages.
Share it on social media.
Generate a QR code to let users access the form by scanning.
FAQ
Do I need to verify a link domain before using it for Forms Landing Page?
Yes. You must verify a link domain first, then ensure it's assigned to Forms Landing Page in Store settings → Domains → Domain usage settings.
What happens to my Landing Page Forms if my link domain expires or stops working?
If your branded domain stops working (expires, is deleted, or has DNS issues), Landing Pages accessed via the branded URL will stop opening. Forms shared on social media, ads, websites, or anywhere else will break. You'll need to fix the domain or manually replace those links everywhere with the shared domain URL or a new branded URL.
Can I use more than one branded domain for Forms Landing Page?
You can verify multiple domains, but only one can be assigned to Forms Landing Page at a time.
Can I use my email sender domain for Forms Landing Page?
No. Your link domain must use a subdomain and be different from your email sender domain to avoid domain reputation conflicts. Learn more in the link domain setup.
