IgnitePOST is a direct mail automation platform that sends handwritten cards, postcards, and personalized mail to your customers. Connect it to Omnisend to trigger email and SMS workflows when orders are fulfilled through IgnitePOST – perfect for coordinating digital and physical touchpoints, tracking direct mail campaigns, and building omnichannel customer experiences.
How It Works
When you connect IgnitePOST to Omnisend:
You create and send a direct mail order through IgnitePOST (handwritten card, postcard, letter, etc.).
When IgnitePOST fulfills the order and prepares it for shipping, it sends the fulfillment data to Omnisend via an instant webhook.
Omnisend logs a custom event called "IgnitePOST – Order Fulfilled" for the recipient's contact profile.
You create Automation Workflows triggered by this event to send coordinated digital messages.
Setup Process
Step 1. Go to the App Market in Omnisend, find the IgnitePOST app, and click the Connect Now button.
Step 2. On the next page, you'll see an automation. Once you select it, the webhook URL will appear. This URL is required for us to receive information about the upcoming event. Access IgnitePOST webhooks settings here.
Step 3. Copy the webhook URL from Omnisend and create a new webhook endpoint in IgnitePOST.
Step 4. Make sure to save settings in Omnisend.
And that's it! When your order is fulfilled by IgnitePOST, a custom event will be triggered in Omnisend!

FAQ
Are events sent in real time?
Yes – IgnitePOST uses webhooks, so the "Order Fulfilled" event triggers instantly when an order is fulfilled.
What if I send an email to someone who isn't in my Omnisend database?
If the recipient's email address doesn't exist in Omnisend, a new contact is created when the event fires. If you want to exclude certain contacts from digital follow-up, use segmentation filters.
