Before You Begin
EmailHeatmaps offers a 14-day free trial with access to the Omnisend integration. After the trial, choose a plan based on the number of campaigns you send.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → EmailHeatmaps → click Connect now.
Step 2. In EmailHeatmaps, open the menu in the top-right corner and go to Integration.
Step 3. Scroll to the Omnisend section and paste your API key.
After the connection is completed, your Omnisend email data starts syncing in the background. Campaigns and automation emails should begin appearing in the EmailHeatmaps dashboard within a few minutes.
What Data Is Passed
EmailHeatmaps is read-only. It does not send emails, edit campaigns, update automations, or write any data back to your Omnisend account.
EmailHeatmaps can access:
Sent campaign data
Automation email data
Original email content and layout for rendering heatmaps
Click data from Omnisend reporting
URLs and per-link click counts, including duplicate links
Historical campaign data available at the time of connection
EmailHeatmaps uses this data to render the original email and overlay click heatmap data on top.

Does EmailHeatmaps send changes to Omnisend?
No. EmailHeatmaps is read-only. It does not send emails, edit campaigns, update automations, or change anything in your Omnisend account.
Are historical campaigns imported?
Yes. When you connect Omnisend, EmailHeatmaps pulls historical campaign data from your Omnisend account.
How long does the sync take?

What happens if I disconnect Omnisend?
If you disconnect Omnisend, EmailHeatmaps removes Omnisend data from its side within minutes.
