Learn how to integrate Egentify with Omnisend

Written by Andrés

Egentify is an AI chatbot and e-commerce helpdesk for Shopify and WooCommerce stores. By connecting Egentify with Omnisend, you can use customer shopping intent and support activity in your Omnisend segments and automations.

Benefits

  • Follow up when a customer clicks a product or adds an item to their cart through Egentify.

  • Create segments based on shopping intent and support activity.

  • Notify customers when a support conversation is escalated.

  • Send surveys, review requests, or other follow-ups after a support ticket is resolved.

Setup Process

The Omnisend integration is available on Egentify’s Free plan. Follow these steps to connect it to Omnisend:

Step 1. In Egentify, go to My Stores, open the project containing your store, and select the store you want to connect.

Step 2. From the store dashboard, click Store Settings.

Step 3. Go to Integrations, turn on the Omnisend toggle, and click Connect with Omnisend.

Follow the displayed instructions to complete the connection, and that's it!

Use Egentify Events in Omnisend

You can use events received from Egentify to create segments and trigger Automation workflows in Omnisend.

Examples include:

  • Following up with customers who clicked on a product during a conversation.

  • Starting a cart recovery workflow after Egentify adds a product to a customer’s cart.

  • Sending an update after a support request is escalated.

  • Requesting feedback after a support ticket is resolved.

Important: Customers must be logged into the Shopify or WooCommerce storefront before starting the chat. They do not need to exist in Omnisend beforehand.
