Wheelio is a third-party app integration with Omnisend that allows you to pass contacts coming from your Wheelio signup forms to the Omnisend contact list. That way, you can send marketing communication to your contacts from Wheelio using Omnisend campaigns and automation.

Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for Wheelio → Click Connect Now → Copy API Key.
Step 2. Go to your Wheelio account and open the Integrations tab → select Omnisend out of the other Email integrations.
Step 3. Paste your API key (created earlier on your Omnisend account).
Note: If the API key is incorrect, Wheelio will show you an error message (Please enter a valid API key!).
Step 4. Enable the integration by clicking on the Enabled toggle. Then click Save changes.
Step 5. In Omnisend, check the box that all the steps are done and click Confirm.
That's it, your new signups will automatically be synced to Omnisend Audience.
Note: If you've collected contacts in Wheelio before enabling the integration, they won't be synced to Omnisend automatically. To add them to your Omnisend audience, you need to export them from Wheelio first (generate the CSV file under the 'Export emails' tab). Then import them to Omnisend by following the steps listed here.
What Data Is Passed
Contacts from the Wheelio app are synced with these properties:
Email address
Phone number
First name
Last name
Adress
Tag '
wheelio'couponcode: code_that_customer_won (custom property)
Note: If you collect custom properties through your Wheelio Signup form, they won't be synced to Omnisend.
Welcome Email
To send welcome emails to contacts passed from Wheelio, create a segment based on the wheelio tag.
Once the segment is created, create an automation workflow based on Contact enters a segment trigger, and select your segment as the trigger filter. Learn how to trigger automation on segment entry/exit.
