WisePops is a 3rd party app that provides multiple popups to collect new email subscribers. In this article, we explain how you can integrate your WisePops forms with Omnisend and what benefits you'll gain.

Benefits

  • Sync new subscribers and the information they submit to the Sign-up forms.

  • Trigger Welcome automation.

  • Use the information you have collected to send more targeted and personalized communication to your customers.

Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to → Apps → Search for "WisePops" → Click on "Connect Now" → Copy an API Key:

Step 2. Go to the WisePops editor and click on the block with the sign-up field:

Step 3. Click on the Sync tab → pick Omnisend out of the other Email Platforms:

Step 4. You will now get the option to paste the API key you created in Omnisend → click Submit:

Step 5. You can add some additional tags that you want to be passed with the contacts that will be collected by this Wisepops form. This might be useful if you have multiple Wisepops Signup forms and want to know which exact form has been filled out by a specific contact.

Step 6. In Omnisend, check the box that all the steps are done and confirm the changes.

And that's it! Your integration is now complete.

What Data Is Passed to Omnisend

Passing Identifiers to Omnisend

When the integration with Omnisend is complete from the WisePops side, your new email/SMS subscribers will be added to Omnisend immediately. To pass email addresses or phone numbers to Omnisend, select the Sign-up block (to pass emails) and Phone block (to pass phones) and add them to your form.

If you want to collect both, select the Sign-up block and add the Phone field to it:

Note! Also, Wisepops allows you to select the 'phone number' property to merge with, but Omnisend uses the 'phone' property, not 'phone number'. So, if you want to collect phone numbers under the default Omnisend property to be able to send them SMS messages later, select the 'Phone' field out of the default block fields, as it's shown above.

At the moment, no other values except First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number can be synced to Omnisend.

Name restrictions:

  • Can contain only Latin characters, numbers, "_" (underscore) sign

  • Max name length - 128 symbols

  • Name is case sensitive

Once contacts are synced, you can create segment-based automation and trigger it as per your needs. How to set up such a flow, please read our article by clicking here.
