Junip is a product review platform that helps you collect photo and video reviews from customers. Connect it to Omnisend to automatically send review request emails, confirmation messages, and follow-up campaigns using custom events triggered by Junip.

Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for "Junip" → Click "Connect Now" → Copy the API Key.
Step 2. In your Junip admin, go to the Integrations tab → Choose Omnisend from the list.
Step 3. Review the integration benefits summary → Click Install to proceed.
Step 4. Paste the API Key you copied from Omnisend → Click Install.
Step 5. In Omnisend, check the box confirming all steps are complete → Click "Confirm".
The integration is now complete. You'll see a notification confirming the successful setup, and Omnisend will appear as "Installed" in your Junip Integrations list.
Custom Events
Once the integration is complete, Junip triggers 4 custom events in Omnisend. You can use these events to create Automation Workflows that send review requests and confirmations.
Custom Event Name | Description |
Junip - Review Submitted | Triggered when review is submitted. |
Junip - Review Request By Campaign | Triggered when there's a request to submit a review by campaign. |
Junip - Review Request | Triggered when there's a request to submit a review. |
Junip - Review Confirmation Required | Triggered when confirmation is required in order to submit a review |
How to use custom events: Create Automation Workflows in Omnisend using these events as triggers or exit conditions. For example, trigger a workflow when "Junip - Review Request" fires, then exit the workflow when "Junip - Review Submitted" fires.
Setting up Automation Workflows
To send automated review request emails using Junip custom events, create an Automation Workflow in Omnisend.
Junip provides comprehensive instructions for the Automation setup, defining the settings for the Trigger, Trigger filter, and Exit condition. For example:
Trigger: Junip - Review Request;
Trigger Filter: all_items_reviewed -> "false";
Exit condition: Junip - Review Submitted.
Make sure you fulfill all of the requirements and don't be scared to add other blocks, such as Split Condition or A/B test. More information about custom events can be found here.
The
Junip app also provides detailed instructions on your Email message design. Here, you may find recommendations for the texts and suggestions on how to add a product photo to the newsletter content.
