Before You Begin

Setup Process
Step 1. Go to Playable and log in to your account.
Step 2. Open the Videos tab and click Add a new video.
Step 3. Upload a video from your computer, enter a video URL, or choose from Playable's sample videos.
Step 4. Use the Video Editor to crop your video, edit captions, and add a logo as an end card.
Step 5. Once you're satisfied with the video, go to the Embed tab. Select Omnisend from the list of email service providers (ESPs) and copy the HTML code.
💡 Tip: Playable generates ESP-specific HTML to ensure compatibility. If Omnisend isn't listed, contact Playable support.
Step 6. In Omnisend, create or open an Email Campaign. Add a Custom HTML block where you want the video to appear, and paste the HTML code copied from Playable.

Your email is ready to send. The video will play inline for most subscribers.
FAQ
Is Playable free? Is it included with Omnisend?
Playable is a separate paid service with its own subscription plans. It's not included with Omnisend. You'll need to create a Playable account at playable.video and handle billing directly with them. Omnisend provides the integration so you can embed Playable videos using a Custom HTML block.
What video formats does Playable support?
Playable supports most common video formats, including MP4, MOV, and AVI. For best results, use MP4.
What if my video doesn't display in the email?
Check that you selected Omnisend in Playable's Embed tab. If the issue persists, verify that the Custom HTML block is correctly placed.
Can I use Playable in Automation?
Yes. Follow the same steps to add Playable videos to emails in Automation workflows.
Is there a file size limit?
Playable compresses videos automatically. However, videos longer than 60 seconds will be trimmed.
