Product Recommendation Quiz is the personal shopper for your ecommerce store visitors. Shoppable quizzes drive sales, advise contacts who completed the quiz on finding the right products, and help them make confident purchasing decisions.
Benefits
With the Product Recommendation Quiz app, you can create quizzes and embed them on your website. Thanks to the integration between Product Recommendation Quiz and Omnisend, all the answers will be sent along with the contact information to Omnisend, and you'll be able to use them to segment your audience and send personalized emails.
Setup Process
Step 1. Create an API Key. In Omnisend, go to → Apps → Search for "Product Recommendation Quiz" → Click on "Connect Now" → Copy an API Key.
Step 2. Once the API key is created, copy it and proceed to your Product Recommendation Quiz account. Create a new quiz or open an existing one → go to Integrations → Mailing & CRMs → find Omnisend among other integrations and paste an API Key. Once done, save the changes.
Step 3. In Omnisend, select the box to confirm that all steps are complete, then confirm the changes.
That's it! Once the quiz is published and contacts complete it, all answers are sent to Omnisend along with the contact info.
What Data Is Passed
Emails and phone numbers collected via Product Recommendation Quiz app quizzes will be passed to Omnisend with the subscribed status. All other collected data will be passed as contact custom properties that you can use later to create segments.
Here's an example contact passed by the Product Recommendation Quiz app:
If multiple options are selected in one of your quiz steps, they'll be listed as custom property values separated by the " and keyword.
Also, you can add any contact tags based on the answers selected in your quiz, which will appear in Omnisend.
Send Automated Emails to RevenueHunt Contacts
To send automated emails to contacts passed by the RevenueHunt, you'll need to create a segment based on custom properties that only exist in profiles that took the quiz. In your case, you’ll have to include only profiles that have the following property set, for example: quiz_gO81rd quiz name. Here’s how to do it.
Then create an automation workflow triggered when someone is added to the segment we created in the previous step. Here’s how to do it.
Then design the email to be sent to the Quiz takers, save it, and enable the workflow. Check out the next section for some useful ideas for your follow-up emails. For information about such an approach, see the article here.
Use Cases
Since all customer answers are passed to Omnisend as custom properties, you can take an extra step and send different emails/SMS follow-ups based on the answers your customer selects.
For example, in our test quiz, we ask the customer which age group they belong to.
Then this data is passed to Omnisend along with the contact information.
To send a different email to contacts who completed the quiz in the 30s age group, create a segment based on the custom property shown above.
Then add a split block to your automation workflow for RevenueHunt quiz takers. Send an email recommending some products.
