Integrate Back in Stock - Restock Alerts by Appikon with Omnisend

Connect Appikon's Back in Stock app with Omnisend to send restock alerts

Back in Stock by Appikon is a third-party app that offers all the necessary tools to let shoppers subscribe to upcoming products & out of stock products via email, SMS, Facebook Messenger & web push.


Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for Back in Stock - Restock Alerts → click Connect nowCopy API key.

Step 2. Go to your Appikon Back in Stock app → IntegrationsPremium Integrations → select Omnisend.

Step 3. In the pop-up window, paste the API key into the corresponding field and click Save.

Step 4. In Omnisend, check the box "I have completed all steps" and click Confirm.

That's it! All new contacts who provide their email or phone number to receive Back in Stock notifications will be synced with Omnisend.

What data is passed

Once the integration is enabled, all the emails and phone numbers collected by your Appikon Back in Stock account will be synced to Omnisend with subscribed status.

Properties synced to Omnisend:

  • email address (subscribed to Email channel

  • phone number (subscribed to SMS channel)

  • tag 'source: back in stock by appikon'

Contacts collected before the integration has been enabled won't be synced to Omnisend.

If you want to add those contacts to your Omnisend audience, you can export them from Appikon.

Then, the export file you'll receive in your email inbox should be imported into Omnisend. Learn how to Import Contacts From a File.

On the 'Map' step, map the phones and email addresses to the corresponding properties in Omnisend.
