Wufoo is an online form builder that allows users to design custom forms, surveys, event registrations, and more. It provides tools for embedding forms, using webhooks, and accessing data via a RESTful API. Integrating Wufoo with Omnisend enables form data to be collected as contacts automating workflows when someone submits a Wufoo form.

Key Benefits

  • Automatically capture new contacts from form submissions, reducing manual data entry.

  • Use form field data (e.g., name, email, custom fields) to enrich contact profiles in Omnisend.

  • Trigger Omnisend automations (e.g., welcome series, follow‑ups, segmentation) based on form responses.

  • Real‑time syncing (via webhooks) ensures prompt action on new data.

  • Embed Wufoo forms on site or landing pages while maintaining integration with Omnisend workflows.

Please keep in mind that currently, it's possible to integrate only 1 form with Omnisend.

Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for “Wufoo” → Click “Connect Now”.

Step 2. Select scenarios you want to use and turn them on.

Step 3. Grant access to your Wufoo account. Enter the form's API key and the domain you want to integrate Omnisend with. The API Key can be found here.

Step 4. We'll generate the webhook's URL. Copy the URL and paste it in the form you want data passed from.

Step 5. Now, you'll need to map fields. Find a form you want to integrate → access "API Information" from the dropdown (the same place where the API Key is). Every field has its ID, and in the table below, your API Key, you will find an API ID for each field.

Step 6. The key will be the API ID in the format of Field##, where ## is the API ID for the given field. So, for example, if our email's field has an API ID of 7, it'll be Field7 in Omnisend; therefore, that's the field you'll have to map into the email's field to Omnisend. The same will need to be done for the rest of the fields.

And that's it! Your Wufoo forms and Omnisend are now connected!

What Data is Passed

Here's the following data that can be passed from Wufoo to Omnisend:

  • Email;

  • Phone number;

  • First name;

  • Last name;

  • Birthday;

  • Address;

  • City;

  • State;

  • Country;

  • Zip / Postal code;

  • Any custom property.
