Why Is Mobile Stacking Important?
Mobile devices have limited viewing space, so a single-column layout is ideal. When email content keeps the desktop layout, text and images look very small or squeezed on mobile devices. Subscribers will likely have difficulty reading your content, leading to a poor user experience.
Enable Mobile Stacking in Omnisend
Mobile stacking works on layouts and product items in the Email Builder. To turn on mobile stacking for your product item or layout:
Click the product item or layout.
Find Mobile stacking in the right-side menu.
Check the box.
💡 Tip: Mobile stacking is checked by default for all emails, as this is our recommendation for a better user experience.
How It Works
Product Items (1–3 Columns)
If mobile stacking is enabled for 1, 2, and 3-column product items, products will be displayed as 1 per row in mobile.
If you decide not to stack on mobile, the layout columns will be displayed the same as on the desktop layout.
Product Items (4 Columns)
If mobile stacking is enabled for 4-column product items, products will be displayed in 2 per row on mobile.
If you decide not to stack on mobile, up to 4 columns will be displayed in 1 row. The mobile view will reflect the desktop layout.
⚠️ Note: Menu items are not stacked on mobile – only layout columns and product items.
