Setup Process

Step 1. Create an API key in Store settings → API keys. You can find the complete guide here.

Step 2. Install the BookingPress plugin in your WordPress.

Step 3. After you have installed it, please make sure to activate it.

Keep in mind that you need an active Premium BookingPress license to use the Omnisend add-on. For more details, please check here.

Step 4. Access the BookingPress app in your WordPress and enter all the information during all the steps.

Step 5. In the BookingPress plugin, access the Settings Opt-ins section and enter the API key you created in the first step.

And that's it! Your Omnisend account is now successfully integrated with BookingPress. You can now enjoy the benefits of using both platforms together.

What Data is Passed

When the booking is made, the following information is synced to Omnisend:

  • First name;

  • Last name;

  • Email address;

  • Email consent (subscribed by default);

  • Tags (assigned and edited on BookingPress admin).

Keep in mind that phone numbers are not passed to Omnisend from BookingPress.

Use Case

You can create a segment-based automation that will trigger contacts when bookings are made. When a contact creates a booking, they get synced to Omnisend with a tag (tags can be configured in BookingPress's admin panel).

With that tag, you can create a segment that collects such contacts using the 'Tag is' rule.

Then, you can create automation to trigger contacts who fall into the segment. Just remember to remove the tag associated with the segment so that contacts can trigger the same automation in the future.
