REVIEWS.io is a third-party app that helps you to collect company and product reviews that can be carried over to Ads, Rich Snippets, and Google Shopping, and contribute towards Google Seller Ratings. Reviews can be left by verified customers through automated email and SMS invitations.
With the Omnisend and Reviews.io integration, when a review is submitted on Reviews.io, the review data is sent to Omnisend as custom fields. You can then use them to segment your customers and launch Email Campaigns in Omnisend.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for "Reviews.io" → Click Connect now → Copy API Key.
Step 2. In Reviews.io, go to Integrations → Omnisend → Paste the API Key you just copied.
Step 3. In Omnisend, check the box "I have completed all the steps" and click Confirm.
And that's it! Reviews.io is now integrated with Omnisend.
What Data is Passed to Omnisend
The integration syncs the following custom events to Omnisend:

Review Request Link
To send the review request using your Omnisend automations, insert the following link in your Order Follow-up automation email.
https://www.reviews.io/store/landing_new_review?store=YOURSTOREURLHERE&user=[[contact.first_name]]&email=[[contact.email]]&type=company&order_id=[[event.raw.order_number]]
YOURSTOREURLHERE should be your full Shopify URL without the myshopify.com part. For example, omnisend.myshopify.com becomes OMNISEND.
To edit the default design of the Review Request page, proceed to your Reviews.io account. Select the Collection section in the left menu and open the Collector page editor.
Note: Add a delay before sending a Review Request email after the order has been shipped (fulfilled). So, your customers will have enough time to use the product before giving their evaluation.
