Integrate Audmate with Omnisend

Learn how to integrate Audmate with Omnisend

Written by Edgaras Vaninas

Audmate is a third-party app that offers tools to design a unique customer journey through points & referral programs.

Benefits

Build a referral program with Audmate and sync your customers' referral profiles with Omnisend. Send reminders to your customers whenever they reach a specific number of points that qualifies for a reward. Also, use properties synced from Audmate to personalize your emails.

Setup Process

Step 1. Go to your Audmate account → StoresIntegrations → Select Omnisend among other integrations.

Step 2. You'll be redirected to the Omnisend integration page. Click Authorize.

Step 3. You'll be redirected to the Omnisend App Market. Click Authorize access.

That's it! Integration will be enabled.

How to Pass Data

Data isn't automatically passed via this integration. So, every time you want to sync new user data from Audmate, you'll need to click the 'Sync User Data' button in the Audmate account on the Omnisend integration page.

Note: The sync takes up to 5 minutes.

What Data is Passed

When the 'Sync User Data' is clicked, these contact custom properties are passed to Omnisend:

  • audmate_points_balance

  • audmate_referral_url (only for referrals)

  • audmate_status

  • audmate_vip_tier_id

  • audmate_vip_tier_name

If these custom properties have already been synced to Omnisend for a specific contact, but the data has been updated in Audmate. New values will replace the old ones after a new sync. So, if the customer has 2000 points and then spends 1000, next time you'll hit the 'Sync User Data', the audmate_points_balance value will be changed from 2000 to 1000.

Use Cases

There are multiple ways to utilize data passed from Audmate.

New VIP Tier

Inform customers that they have entered the new VIP tier. To do this, create multiple segments with a filter based on 'audmate_vip_tier_name' custom property and set each VIP tier name as a rule for this filter. For example, our test store has 3 VIP tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. So you can create a segment based on that tier. Then create a custom automation with Contact enters a segment trigger and set the segment you've created as a trigger filter. Find more about such setups.

In the email content you can add current number of points customer has on their balance using personalization tags, explain how to get into a higher tier and list all the perks and benefits of being in the current tier.

Special Offers for Members of Each Tier

Triggering workflows whenever a customer enters a new VIP tier isn't the only way to use the segments you've created for the use case explained above. You can create different email campaigns for members of each tier, or you can send two separate campaigns to customers who belong to any of the VIP tiers versus those who don't belong to any of the VIP tiers. To do that, create a segment for the customers you want to send a special campaign to (e.g., those who belong to any VIP tier). Then select this segment you just created in the campaign's audience settings.

Then create another segment of customers who don't belong to any VIP tier. Send them a different campaign by selecting this segment on the audience settings step as well:

These are the most basic ways to use data passed by Audmate. So, feel free to experiment! Add a few emails to the workflow for customers who enter a new VIP tier, set up different email campaigns for clients who have a specific amount of points, informing only them that they can use their points to buy something from your new collection, etc.
