Wrapped is a gift card platform that helps you create, manage, and track digital gift cards for your store. Connect it to Omnisend to trigger email or SMS workflows when gift cards are gifted, updated, reminded, or voided – perfect for driving gift card redemptions, re-engaging recipients, and maximizing gift card revenue.
Before You Begin
The integration is available on all Omnisend plans.
You need the Pro plan on Wrapped in order to enable API access.
How It Works
When you connect Wrapped to Omnisend:
A gift card activity occurs in Wrapped (e.g., a gift card is sent to a recipient, updated, or voided).
Wrapped sends the event data to Omnisend instantly.
Omnisend logs the corresponding custom event on the contact profile.
You create Automation workflows triggered by these events to send follow-up messages in Omnisend.
Setup Process
Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → Search for Wrapped → Click Connect now.
Step 2. You'll see an input field in Omnisend to enter an API Key. In Wrapped, go to Settings → Integrations → Create API Key.
Step 3. Paste the API Key into the Omnisend connection form and click Continue.
Step 4. You'll see an integration feature called Giftcard events. Enable it in order to trigger supported custom events.
And that's it! Once connected, gift card events from Wrapped will start triggering in Omnisend.
What Data Is Passed
The table below lists the custom events the integration currently supports:

Wrapped – Giftcard Voided | Triggered when a gift card is deactivated or voided. |

What triggers "Gift Card Reminded"?
This event fires when Wrapped sends a built-in reminder notification about an unused or expiring gift card. You can use this as a trigger to send additional nudges via Omnisend.
Can I sync historical gift card data?
No, the integration only syncs events that occur after you connect Wrapped. Past gift card activity won't trigger events.
What happens if I disconnect Wrapped?
Past events remain on contact profiles, but new gift card activity won't trigger workflows.
Why didn't my workflow trigger after a gift card event?
Check the following:
The integration feature is enabled in app settings.
Reinstall the app and ensure the correct API Key is entered.
