Benefits

Integrate BoostPop – Pop Ups & Banners with Omnisend and pass email addresses collected with your PAB Signup forms.

Setup Process

Step 1. Create an API Key. In Omnisend, go to → Apps → Search for "BoostPop – Pop Ups & Banners" → Click on "Connect Now" → Copy the API Key.

Step 2. Copy the API key you've created and go to your BoostPop – Pop Ups & Banners account. On the Integrations page, paste the API key into the corresponding field.

Step 3. The integration settings will be saved successfully. Now go to one of your announcements or create one if you haven't yet:

Step 4. Scroll to the Email Providers section and activate Omnisend integration for this Announcement Bar. You can also set up unique tag to be passed along with the contacts collected with this specific Announcement Bar:

Step 5. In Omnisend, check the box that all the steps are done and confirm the changes.

That's it! If you have multiple Announcement Bars that you collect emails with, activate Omnisend integration for each of them.

Note! Historical data isn't passed through this integration, but since all the contacts collected with Perfect Announcement Bar are synced to Shopify, they'll be passed to Omnisend from Shopify anyway. So, you shouldn't worry about this.

What data is passed

This integration passes 2 properties to Omnisend by default:

  • email address (subscription status)

  • Tag "app: adperfect"

Also, the integration will pass all the custom tags, if you've applied any in the Omnisend Provider Settings when editing the settings of the Announcement Bar.

Sending Follow-up Email to PAB subscribers

To send automated emails to PAB contacts, create a segment based on your 'app: adperfect' tag:

If you want to send different automated emails to customers that come from different PAB Announcement Bars, you'll need to apply custom tags in the Omnisend Provider Settings and create separate segments based on each of those tags.

Once the segment is created, create an automation workflow based on Contact enters a segment trigger, and select your segment as the trigger filter.
