Integration with Conjured Referrals by Shop Circle

Conjured Referrals is the perfect solution for growing your customer base and boosting sales with a high-performing, customizable referral program. Conjured allows you to launch a "Refer-A-Friend" program quickly and easily. Encourage customers to refer their friends. If their friend buys, your customer gets a discount and your revenue increases. Discount codes or Gift Cards are created automatically, so there's no need for manual entry.

Setup Process

Step 1. Create an API Key. In Omnisend, go to → Apps → Search for "Conjured Referrals" → Click on "Connect Now" → Copy an API Key.


Step 2. Go to your Conjured Referrals account -> Integrations tab -> find Omnisend and click on it.

Step 3. Paste your API key into the corresponding field and enter the tags you want to be applied to the Advocates and Friends passed from Conjured Referrals. Then, click on the "Disabled" toggle, which will change to 'Enabled'

Once it's done, make sure to click the 'Save' button located at the top.

Step 4. In Omnisend, check the box that all the steps are done and confirm the changes.

That's it! New Advocates and Friends collected by any of your Conjured Referrals Campaigns will be passed to Omnisend.

What data is passed

The contacts that have been collected prior to enabling the integration won't be synced to Omnisend, but you can export those lists from Conjured Referrals:

Contacts that will be collected after the integration is enabled will be passed to Omnisend along with these contact properties:

  • Email address (subscribed status);

  • First name and last name (if available);

  • Tag 'source: Conjured Referrals' is applied to all the contacts synced;

  • Advocate and Friend tags that you've applied on the integration settings page (if you haven't applied any, only default 'source: Conjured Referrals' tag will be synced).

Note! Friends you collect are synced to Shopify with the 'Conjured Referrals - Friend' tag, and advocates you collect are synced to Shopify with the 'Conjured Referrals - Advocate' tag. We sync those tags from Shopify.

Here's an example Advocate synced to Omnisend from Conjured Referrals:

If you want new advocates/friends synced from the Conjured Referrals app to receive the same welcome email, you'll need to create a segment based on the tags you chose when integrating with Omnisend

In our example, we're applying 'conjured_advocate' and 'conjured_friend' tags:

If you want to send different emails to friends/advocates synced from Conjured Referrals, you'll need to create 2 segments based on the unique tags applied on the integration page instead.

Then, create a workflow based on Contact enters a segment trigger, and set the segment you've created as a trigger filter. If you're going to send the same welcome email to all the Conjured Referrals contacts, you'll need to create just 1 workflow.

If you're going to send different welcome emails to Advocates and Friends, you'll need to create a separate workflow for each segment (one for the segment of Advocates and another for the segment of Friends).
