Sync Zotabox subscribers to your Omnisend account;
Trigger Welcome automation for the Zotabox subscribers;
Use collected data to segment your customers and personalize your emails.
To integrate Zotabox with Omnisend create the API key the following way:
Store settings ➡️ Integrations & API ➡️ API Keys ➡️ Create API Key
Then proceed to your Zotabox account -> Dashboard -> Email Service Integration:
Pick Omnisend among the other options:
Enter the API key you've created into the pop up window:
Once you submite the API key, Omnisend will be added to your Integrations directory and you'll be able to choose what tools should Omnisend sync the data from and what tag(s) should be applied to contacts that are passed.
If you have multiple forms in Zotabox and want to send different follow-up emails based on the form that customer has filled out, it'd make sense to apply different tags for each of the forms:
If you're going to send the same folllow-up email to all the customers, no matter which form they've filled out, you can apply the same tag to all of them. Keep the default 'all tools' option and apply one tag (e.g. 'source: zotabox').
What data is passed
Once the integration is enabled, whenever a new contact will be collected by one of the Zotabox Signup forms, it'll be passed to Omnisend with these contact properties:
email opt-in date;
url (custom property that shows on which page the customer has signed up to your newsletter);
tag (if added in the integration configuration settings)
Note! If you've collected contacts in Zotabox before enabling the integration, those contacts won't be synced to Omnisend. To add them to Omnisend, go to Email sign ups page in your Zotabox account -> click 'Export CSV' button:
Then import the file that has been downloaded to your device.
Sending follow-up email to Zotabox subscribers
To send follow-up email to Zotabox subscribers after their subscription, you'll need to create a segment based on the custom tag that you've added in the integration 'Configure' menu. If you want to send different emails to customers coming from different Signup forms and you're applying different tags, then create a segment based on each of the tags.
Then create an automation workflow with 'Contact enters a segment' trigger and set the segment you've just created as a Trigger filter:
