Integrate Love Loyalty with Omnisend

Love Loyalty Rewards & Points is a Shopify app that lets you run a loyalty program with points, VIP tiers, paid memberships, and referrals.

The Omnisend integration syncs loyalty data to your contacts and sends loyalty events to Omnisend, so you can build segments, personalize emails, and trigger email and SMS automations.

How It Works

You start the connection from the Love Loyalty app in your Shopify admin and authorize access to your Omnisend account with OAuth. After the connection is made, Love Loyalty sends contact properties and custom events to Omnisend.

Setup Process

Step 1. In your Shopify admin, open Love Loyalty Rewards & Points from the Apps menu and click Integrations.

Step 2. In the Email & SMS section, find Omnisend and click Set up.

Step 3. On the Omnisend integration page, click Connect to Omnisend.

Step 4. Complete the OAuth flow by authorizing Love Loyalty to access your Omnisend account.

What Data Is Passed

Contact Custom Properties

Love Loyalty syncs the following default contact custom properties to Omnisend:

`love_points_balance`	The current loyalty points balance of the contact
`love_vip_tier`	The name of the current VIP tier of the contact
`love_paid_membership`	The name of the current paid membership of the contact
`love_referral_url`	The unique referral URL of the contact
`love_birthday`	The birthday provided in Love Loyalty by the contact
`shopify_store_credit`	The current Shopify store credit balance of the contact

You can also enable the following additional custom properties in Love Loyalty:

`love_points_to_next_tier`	Points or amount needed to reach the next VIP tier
`love_lifetime_points`	Lifetime points earned by the contact
`love_lifetime_redemptions`	Lifetime number of redemptions made by the contact
`love_lifetime_loyalty_discount_value`	Lifetime value of the loyalty discounts the contact received on orders

7-day membership expiry reminder	Sent 7 days before the membership renews or expires
Approaching next VIP tier	Sent when a contact is approaching the next VIP tier
Store credit received	Sent when the contact receives Shopify store credit from Love Loyalty
Reward points reached	Sent when a contact reaches the points threshold for a reward
Approaching reward points	Sent when a contact is approaching the points threshold for a reward
VIP tier downgraded	Sent when a contact is downgraded to a lower VIP tier
Points expired	Sent when a contact’s loyalty points expire

Create Automation Workflows with Love Loyalty Events

You can use the custom events sent from Toki to create Automation Workflows in Omnisend. Go to Automation → Create workflow → Create from scratch. In the trigger area, select your Toki custom event.

Note: The custom event must be synced to Omnisend at least once before you can select it as an automation trigger.

Here are example workflows you can build:

Birthday campaign: Send an email when the 7-day birthday reminder event fires, with a reward for the contact.
Points expiry nudge: Send an email or SMS when the 30-day point expiry reminder event fires to encourage contacts to redeem points.
VIP welcome: Send a congratulations email when the VIP tier achieved event fires.
Win-back for downgrades: Send an email when the VIP tier downgraded event fires with ways to earn points back.
Segment by tier: Create a segment of contacts where love_vip_tier matches a specific tier and send them an exclusive offer.

What should I check if loyalty data doesn’t appear in Omnisend?

Check that:

You connected the correct Omnisend account.
You completed the OAuth flow.
The Omnisend integration page in Love Loyalty shows the integration as connected.
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
