Brave Builder is the most powerful and intuitive Conversion widget builder for WordPress. You can visually create popups, lead generation forms, sticky bars, and sidebars in minutes and convert your visitors like there’s no tomorrow. Unlike other popups, Brave does not load many scripts to your site. It was built with Performance in mind. Brave Popups are very lightweight and only load assets after fully loading the page.

Setup Process

Step 1. From your Omnisend store, go to Store Settings → API keys.

Step 2. Click 'create API key' → set all permissions, or for passing contacts at least → copy it and click save. Here's more info on generating API keys.

Step 3. Go to your WordPress admin → you should already have Brave plugin installed → go to Integrations → look for Omnisend → paste API key created during Step 2.

Step 4. Omnisend has been successfully connected.

What Data is Passed

Once the Brave plugin is connected with Omnisend, you can start setting up your forms. Here's the list of values that can be passed to Omnisend:

  • Email and opt-in date;

  • Phone number with non-subscribed status.

Setting Up Your First Form

Step 1. Go to All campaigns → and click 'Create a new form.' You can select that as either a widget or embedded content.

Step 2. After naming your form and selecting a template, you'll proceed to Brave form builder. In the Design step, click on the block where you have email and other fields → select Action step →, toggle the option to 'Add user to Newsletter, ' → and select Omnisend from the drop-down.

Step 3. Then, map the fields.

Step 4. Make sure to check other settings as well. Remember to save your changes and publish the form.

This way, you will pass contact information from your form to Omnisend.

FAQ

Can my contacts from Brave trigger the Welcome automation in Omnisend?

Yes, your contacts will receive default Omnisend welcome automation emails.

Why can't I send an SMS campaign to all contacts collected with Brave?

Please note that the SMS channel, upon such integration, is being passed with non-subscribed status. You can check this article for more information on what type of messages such contacts can receive with their phone channel.
