Setup Process

Step 1. In Omnisend, go to Apps → search for Brave → click on Connect nowCopy API Key.

Step 2. Go to your WordPress admin → you should already have the Brave plugin installed → go to Integrations → look for Omnisend → paste the API key you created in Omnisend.

Step 3. You'll see a confirmation message that the integration is done.

Step 4. In Omnisend, check the box I have completed all the steps and click Confirm.

What Data is Passed

Once the Brave plugin is connected with Omnisend, you can start setting up your forms. Here's the list of values that can be passed to Omnisend:

  • Email and opt-in date

  • Phone number with non-subscribed status

Setting Up Your First Form

Step 1. Go to All campaigns → click Create a new form. You can select that as either a widget or embedded content.

Step 2. After naming your form and selecting a template, you'll proceed to the Brave form builder. In the Design step, click on the block where you have email and other fields → select Action step → toggle the option Add user to Newsletter → select Omnisend from the dropdown.

Step 3. Then, map the fields.

Step 4. Make sure to check other settings as well. Remember to save your changes and publish the form.

This way, the contact information from your form will be passed to Omnisend.

FAQ

Can my contacts from Brave trigger the Welcome automation in Omnisend?

Yes, your contacts will receive default Omnisend welcome automation emails.

Why can't I send an SMS campaign to all contacts collected with Brave?

Please note that the SMS channel, upon such integration, is being passed with a non-subscribed status. You can check this article for more information on what type of messages such contacts can receive with their phone channel.
