Hotglue helps companies launch integrations to their customers. With Hotglue, you can launch an Omnisend integration in minutes, letting your customers connect their Omnisend account to your product.

Benefits

  • Quick Integration: Quickly connect to a wide array of data sources without the need to build custom connectors from scratch.

  • Developer-Friendly: Offers flexible customization options, webhooks, and version control for engineering teams.

  • Scalable & Secure: Designed to handle large volumes of data with enterprise-grade security features.

  • Improved Automation: Automates data syncs, reducing manual work and ensuring real-time data availability.

Setup Process

We will need to create an API Key. In Omnisend, go to → Apps → Search for "hotglue" → Click on "Connect Now" → Copy the API Key.

Now, let's head over to Hotglue. Once your sandbox is created, go ahead and create a new flow.

Let's go over to Target and search for Omnisend.

Once you select it, you will be prompted to paste the previously created API key.

Click on Save, and there you go! You are ready to start sending information to your Omnisend store.

Don't forget to check "I have completed all the steps" and click on Confirm.

Use case

Please note that Hotglue supports hundreds of integrations, but in this guide, we’ll walk you through connecting Google Sheets as a source. The steps will be similar for other data sources, so that you can use this example as a starting point for different integrations.

Let's head to https://console.cloud.google.com/ and create a new project (or use an existing one).

Then, we'll need to go to the menu on the top left → APIs and services → Library.

Here, we will search for both the Google Sheets API and the Google Drive API and enable both of them.

Once that's done, we'll go to the menu on the left again. This time, head over to APIs and services → OAuth consent screen.

Here, you will need to set up an OAuth client and use https://api.hotglue.xyz/oauth/callback as the authorized redirect URL.

Once created, you will see the application name you just created in a list. Click on it, and you will find both keys you need: the Client ID and the Client Secret.

Now, let's return to Hotglue and search for Google Sheets.

You will be asked to provide the details that were previously generated for you.

Click on Save, and you're done! You will need to create jobs based on the information you want to pass to Omnisend, but the flow will be ready to use. Here's a demo from the Hotglue developers showcasing another use case with Salesforce.
