Reelevant is a personalization platform that lets you add dynamic, real-time content blocks, such as personalized visuals and countdown timers, to your Omnisend emails.

This article explains how to set up the integration and use it in your Email Campaigns and Automation.

Step 1. Open your email in the Omnisend Email Builder and add an HTML block.

Step 2. Copy the HTML code below and paste it into the HTML block. Replace the placeholders with the links you generated in Reelevant.

If you're adding a block with dynamic content – such as a contact's name or city – insert the corresponding Omnisend personalization variables under the Variable field in Reelevant.

The block preview loads immediately in the Email Builder.

Step 1. In your Reelevant account, go to the Blocks tab and click +.

Step 2. Click Start Creation and add a URL parameter.

Step 3. Name the parameter and select Live Image Personalization.

Step 5. Select one of the saved contents and design your block.

Step 6. Once your design is ready, click the zone where FIRSTNAME appears. Go to the Text tab and confirm that [VARIABLE] is present.

Step 7. Go to the Variables tab. Click Pick a Variable → URL Param and select the variable you created in steps 2 and 3. Add a default value in case a contact hasn't provided their name.

Step 8. Name your content and click Save.

Step 9. Name your block and click Save.

Step 11. In the Recipient ID field, enter [[contact.email]]. In the Variable field, enter the corresponding personalization tag – for example, [[contact.first_name]] for a contact's first name.

Step 12. Copy the generated links and paste them into the HTML code in your Omnisend Birthday Automation Workflow email.

Step 13. Click Save & Close, then Save & Go Back to save the email in your Birthday Automation Workflow. Your contacts will now receive personalized emails.

Step 1. Follow steps 1–4 from the use case above, but this time select one of the countdown contents.

Step 2. Generate the HTML, copy the links, and paste them into the HTML block in your email – as described in the Setup Process above.

Can I use Omnisend dynamic variables in Reelevant's countdown block?

No. Omnisend personalization variables are not supported in countdown blocks. As a workaround, add a text block directly above the HTML block and set the same background color. This makes the two blocks appear as one on the contact's end.
