Appypie is a 3rd party tool that allows you to integrate your apps and services with unique triggers and actions without writing a single line of code.

Say hello to Appy Pie's new logo!

Benefits

Integrate Omnisend with more than 300 apps from the Appypie directory and get more done in less time.

Available events:

Trigger events

Action events

New contact (Triggers when a new contact is created in your Omnisend Audience)

Create/Update Subscriber (Creates a new subscriber or updates an existing subscriber in your Omnisend Audience)

New Custom Event (Triggers when a new custom event is created in Omnisend)

New Unsubscribe Contact (Triggers when a contact is unsubscribed from Email Channel in your Omnisend Audience)

Setup Process

Firstly create an Omnisend API key and select all the custom permissions. Learn how to create an API key in Omnisend here.

Then proceed to your Appypie dashboard -> My Connects -> Create a Connect:

At this point, you'll have 2 ways to go with:

Omnisend as a Trigger app

If you want Omnisend to be the trigger app in your Connect (New contact created/New Custom Event/New Contact Unsubscribes will be tracked, and Connect will be triggered), then select it among other Trigger Apps:

Then select which specific Omnisend event you want to trigger this Connect and click 'Continue':

On the next step, you'll need to connect your Omnisend Account to Appypie (only the first time you'll be setting up a Connect with Omnisend, later the existing integration will be reused whenever you select Omnisend for your Trigger/Action step):

In the popup window, paste the API key you've created into the corresponding field and click the 'Yes, Continue' button:

Omnisend will be connected to Appypie, and you'll need to select the Action app. For example, you could create a new row in Google Spreadsheet when a new contact is created in Omnisend. Our Google Sheet file has 2 columns: email and name:

Then map the data synced from Omnisend to corresponding columns in the Google Spreadsheet file (Email property will be added to 'email' column and FirstName property will be added to the 'name' column):

Omnisend as an Action app

If you want Omnisend to be the Action app in your Connect (Create/Update Contact in Omnisend), you'll need to set the Trigger app first (in our example, we'll use Google Sheets to track 'New Row created' event). Then select Omnisend among other Action apps:

Then click 'Continue':

On the next step, you'll need to connect your Omnisend Account to Appypie (only the first time you'll be setting up a Connect with Omnisend, later the existing integration will be reused whenever you select Omnisend for your Trigger/Action step):

In the popup window, paste the API key you've created into the corresponding field and click the 'Yes, Continue' button:

Omnisend will be connected to Appypie, and you'll be able to map the data from your Trigger app to Omnisend properties. Our Google Spreadsheet file has 2 columns: email and name:

That's how Google Sheets data would be mapped to Omnisend properties:

Since Appypie is a tool that offers a lot of different integrations, we highly encourage you to check out their Knowledge base if you're unsure how to build the Connect you're interested in.
