Setup Process
Firstly, create an API key. To do this, click on your brand name in the top right corner -> Store settings:
Click on the 'API keys' section:
Then click the 'Create API Key' button:
Enter the name of your API key, keep default settings and click 'Save':
Then proceed to your Attrac account. Open the Integrations tab and click on the 'Connect' button next to Omnisend:
Paste the API key into the corresponding field and click the 'Add integration' button:
Then proceed to your Attrac Dashboard - > click the 'Edit' button next to your Signup form or create a new one:
In the form editor scroll to the Integrations section and add new integration:
Then pick Omnisend among other integrations:
Applying a tag
Enter a tag you want to be applied to all the contacts synced to Omnisend from this form. The 'attrac' tag is applied to all the contacts by default. So, if you have multiple Attrac forms that you'd like to pass contacts to Omnisend, it will make sense to apply tags that would include these forms' names (e.g. 'attrac form_name_1') too. You can apply multiple tags by entering the name - > click 'Enter' - > enter another tag name. Once you're finished, click the 'Add integration' button:
Then save the form changes:
That's it! All the new contacts collected by this form will be synced to Omnisend. If you have multiple forms in your Attrac account, repeat these steps for each of them.
What Data is Synced
Once you enable the integration in the form settings menu, all the contacts collected by this specific form are passed to Omnisend along with these properties:
email address (subscribed);
email opt-in date;
first and last name;
city (collected based on IP address);
state (collected based on IP address);
country (collected based on IP address);
tags: 'attrac' and any other tags you've applied in the form integrations section settings.
Send Welcome Email to Attrac Subscribers
If you have one or multiple Attrac forms integrated with Omnisend and want to send the same Welcome email to all of them, you'll need to create a segment based on the 'attrac' tag:
Once the segment is created, create an automation workflow based on Contact enters a segment trigger, and select your segment as trigger filter:
If you have multiple Attrac forms and would like to send different Welcome emails for each one, repeat the process and create a different segment/automation for each form (for this to work a unique tag should be applied to each form as explained here).
