A Landing Page is a standalone page with its own URL, hosted by Omnisend. It uses persuasive elements, headlines, images, CTA buttons, and social links to capture subscribers. You can share the link on social media, in email campaigns, or via QR codes.
In this article, you'll learn how to create and customize a Landing Page signup form, adjust its settings, and use it for different cases.

Before You Begin
Unlike popups, Landing Pages don’t rely on visitor behavior; they’re accessed via a shareable URL.
You can convert any popup or embedded form into a Landing Page form.
Landing Pages are flexible and can be used in many ways; check common use cases below.
Setup Process
Step 1. Create your form.
Go to Forms → Create Form → Landing Page → Use template.
💡 You can also turn any other type of form into a Landing Page in a few clicks. In the form builder, go to Layout Settings → Display Type → select Landing Page.
Step 2: Add form items.
After creating your form, use the Items menu in the Form Builder to drag and drop the elements you need:
Email Field – Collect subscriber email addresses.
Legal Consent – Ensure compliance with GDPR or TCPA when collecting personal data.
Phone Number Field – Capture phone numbers with country code support.
Input Field – Collect names, addresses, or custom properties.
Date Field – Useful for collecting birthdays or key dates.
Dropdown – Gather fixed or custom values (e.g., gender, country, preferences).
Radio Button – Allow selection of one option from a list.
Checkbox – Let users select multiple options.
Text Block – Add customizable text for headlines or descriptions.
Button – Use to submit, navigate steps, or link to a URL.
Image – Upload JPG, PNG, or GIF; add links, alt text, and resize as needed.
Line / Space – Add visual separation between form elements.
Wheel of Fortune – Add a gamified spinning wheel to boost engagement.
Countdown Timer – Create urgency with a timer for limited-time offers.
Step 3. Add a second step (optional).
You can split your Landing Page into two steps to collect information gradually, helping reduce form fatigue and improve completion rates.
In the Form Builder, click Add option → Next step, then add your form fields and content to each step.
Note: The button in Step 1 must be customized to link to Step 2 of your form.
Step 4. Configure form settings.
Before enabling your form, review the Theme and Behavior settings, along with the final steps, including the Success and Subscribed messages.
Landing Page Settings
Once you create your Landing Page, you can customize its appearance and behavior in the Theme and Behavior settings, and additionally customize your form's
Theme Settings
Theme settings control the visual appearance of your Landing Page. You can customize:
Form Layout: Choose form type (Landing Page, Popup, Flyout, Embedded), set form width (300–1000px), add a background image, and set form position (left, center, right, etc.).
Form Styles: Customize corners, border width, border style, border color, and overlay color.
Buttons: Style your CTA buttons (font, corner style, text color, background color, hover effects).
Fields: Customize form field appearance (corners, background color, border color, text color, placeholder color).
Behavior Settings
Behavior Settings control how your Landing Page works:
Audience Management: Add tags to subscribers, enable double opt-in, or enable reCAPTCHA for spam protection.
Scheduling: Set start and end dates for limited-time campaigns.
Social Media Sharing: Customize the preview image, title, and description that appear when your Landing Page is shared on social platforms.
Success and Subscribed Messages
These messages appear after a form is submitted:
Success message – Shown to new subscribers.
Subscribed message – Shown to existing contacts who submit the form again.
Instead of a success message, you can also set up an auto-redirect to send subscribers to a specific URL, such as your store, a thank-you page, or a discount offer. To do this, select the Submit button, choose Link to, and enter your redirect URL.
💡 Tip for in-person events: Set the redirect URL to the Landing Page's own link. This auto-refreshes the form after each signup, so no manual reload is needed.
Not Available Message
Customize the "Not Available message shown when your form hasn’t started yet or has expired. Visitors will see this if they access the form outside its scheduled timeframe.
💡 Tip: Use this message to build anticipation (e.g., “This offer goes live on Black Friday—check back soon!”) or to inform visitors when a promotion has ended (e.g., “This offer is no longer active—stay tuned for more!”).
Enabling Landing Page Form
Once you’ve finalized the form style and settings, click Enable form to generate the shareable URL for your Landing Page.
The URL appears in a popup when you first enable the form. You must enable the form before the link is created. After that, the link is always available under Behavior settings.
💡 Tips for using your Landing Page URL:
Add it to your campaigns or automation messages.
Share it on social media.
Generate a QR code to let users access the form by scanning.
Use Cases
Promote new product arrivals or promotions
Build a Landing Page to promote new products or special offers. You need a way to showcase what's new and inform customers about what matters to them. Use a catchy title, include keywords related to the product, and add a clear CTA like "Get this product now" or "Shop the sale."
You can add a signup field to collect new subscribers or use the page as a standalone promotion without a form.
Collect more information about existing subscribers
Use a Landing Page to collect more details from existing subscribers. Ask for product preferences (sizes, colors), birthday, or opt-ins for special holiday campaigns. Share the link on social media with an incentive. The data you collect helps you segment your audience and send more personalized campaigns.
⚠️ Always include the email address field so new data links to the existing Contact profile. This updates the profile without creating duplicates.
Run a special event or pre-sale campaign
Create a Landing Page for limited-time events like pre-sales, product launches, or flash sales. Highlight the features and benefits of your offer, or provide early-bird discounts. Make the campaign unique and exciting to engage supporters.
Have a gamified contest with Wheel of Fortune
Add a Wheel of Fortune to your Landing Page and run a gamified contest. Visitors can spin the wheel to win discounts or offers. When they have a discount code, they're more likely to place an order.
FAQ
If I schedule the form but forget to enable it, will it still work?
No. Even if scheduling is set, you must enable the form first. Once enabled, the form will only go live according to its schedule. If the start date hasn't arrived, the link will show the "Not available" message.
Can I use a Landing Page without it being a signup form?
Yes. You can create a Landing Page with only text, images, and buttons (no email address or phone number field). This is useful for promotions where you don't need to collect subscribers.
Why can't I find a shareable link for my popup form?
Popup forms do not generate shareable links. Only Landing Page forms create a standalone URL that you can share on social media or in emails. To get a shareable link, change your form type to Landing Page by going to Theme Settings → Form Layout → Landing Page in the form builder.
My landing page link says "Not Available" – what does this mean?
This message appears when you've set up scheduling for your landing page and the current date is outside the scheduled timeframe. If the form is scheduled to start in the future, visitors will see the "Not Available" message until the start date. You can customize the start and end date under Behavior Settings → Scheduling.
