Add drag-and-drop items to your Signup Forms to collect emails, phone numbers, custom data, and boost engagement. Choose from 13+ items, including fields, buttons, images, and gamification.

What Are Form Items?
Form items are reusable elements you drag from the left sidebar into your Signup Form. They help you:
Collect subscriber data (email, phone, name, birthday, preferences).
Ensure compliance with GDPR and TCPA.
Create engaging experiences (Wheel of Fortune, countdown timers).
Open your form in the Form Builder → Drag items from the left sidebar into your form layout → Customize each item using the right-hand menu.

Email Field
Collect email addresses by adding an Email field anywhere in your form.
Drag the Email field from the left sidebar into your form. You can customize:
Placeholder text: Default text shown in the field (e.g., "Enter your email").
Label: Text above the field (e.g., "Email").
Field required: Make the field mandatory.
Error messages: Customize the message shown when the field is not filled correctly (e.g., "The email address must contain @ and a valid domain").
Input alignment: Select the alignment of the field to Left, Center, Right, or Full.
Padding: Adjust internal spacing within the field.
Phone Number Field
Collect phone numbers with a predefined country code field.
Drag the Phone Number field into your form and customize:
Placeholder text: Default text shown in the field (e.g., "Enter your number").
Default country: Pre-fill the field with a specific country (shown as flag + code).
Label: Text above the field (e.g., "Phone").
Field required: Make the field mandatory.
Error messages: Customize the message shown when the field is not filled correctly (e.g., "Must be a valid phone number").
Input alignment: Select the alignment of the field to Left, Center, Right, or Full.
Padding: Adjust internal spacing within the field.
When collecting phone numbers, add a Legal Consent item to comply with TCPA (US) or GDPR (EU).
Legal Consent
Drag the Legal consent item into your form and then:
Choose a template: GDPR (EU) or TCPA (US).
Edit the text and add your privacy policy link.
Customize the required error message.
This means your website visitors must check the box to submit your form.
Input Field
Collect custom text data like first name, last name, address, city, zip code, or custom properties.
Drag the Input field into your form and then:
Map the field to a property: First name, Last name, Address, City, State, Zip code, or a Custom property.
Customize placeholder, label, required message, alignment, and paddings.
Date Field
Collect dates like birthdays or event registrations.
Drag the Date field into your form and:
Map the field to Birthday or a Custom property.
Customize placeholder, label, required message, alignment, and paddings.
Dropdown Field
Collect structured data such as gender, country, or custom preferences, and provide users with dropdown options to choose from.
Drag the Dropdown field into your form and then:
Map the field to Gender, Country, or a Custom property.
Customize placeholder, label, required message, alignment, and paddings.
If you select Custom property type, you can add your custom dropdown choices by clicking Add a choice

Radio Button
Let users select one option from a list (e.g., gender, subscription frequency) by clicking a radio button.
Drag the Radio Button item into your form and:
Map to Gender or a Custom property.
If you select a custom property, add options (e.g., "Weekly," "Monthly") under Manage your choices.
Customize placeholder, label, required message, alignment, and paddings.
Your website visitors will need to select one option and subscribe as a result.
Checkbox
Let users select multiple options from a list (e.g., product interests, content preferences) by checking boxes.
Drag the Checkbox item into your form and:
Add property name for your Custom property.
Add options (e.g., "Shoes," "Apparel," "Accessories") under Manage your choices.
Customize placeholder, label, required message, alignment, and paddings.
💡 All checkbox selections are saved as text values in the custom property. You can use them to segment your customers based on their personal data.
Text
Add headlines, descriptions, or instructions to your form.
Drag the Text item into your form and:
Type or paste your content.
Select text style: Heading Large, Heading Medium, Heading Small, Paragraph, or Footnote.
Select Text color and Link color.
Format text using the right-hand menu (bold, italics, links, alignment, etc.).
Customize paddings.
Button
Add a button to submit the form, link to a page, or navigate multi-step forms.
Drag the Button item into your form and:
Select Button action:
Submit form: Collects subscriber data.
Link to: Redirects to a specific page/URL (e.g., product page, blog post).
Go to next step: Advances in multi-step forms.
Close form: Dismisses the form (useful for promotional forms).
Add Button text.
Select Button style: Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary.
Set Button alignment to Left, Center, Right, or Full.
Adjust Paddings.
You can adjust the button style further under Theme settings → Buttons.
Image
Add images (JPG, PNG, GIF) up to 2000px in dimensions and optionally, link images to URLs.
Drag the Image item into your form and then:
Click Select file and upload your image.
Add Alt text and Link to (optional).
Adjust Alignment and Padding.
Resize the image by dragging the corners.
Note: The Image item is different from the form's background image, which is set in Layout settings.
Line/Space
Add visual separation between form elements.
Drag Line/Space into your form and:
Switch between Line (border) or Space (vertical padding).
Customize:
Line: Border thickness, Width, Style (solid, dashed, pointed), Alignment, Border color, and Padding.
Space: Height in pixels (up to 240px).
Wheel of Fortune
Gamify your form by letting visitors spin a wheel to win discounts in exchange for their subscription (email address or phone number).
Drag the Wheel of Fortune item into your form and:
Configure wheel slices:
Add winning slices with discount codes and probabilities.
Add losing slices (wheel stops only on winning slices).
Customize colors, text.
Adjust the Wheel styles, including Width, Pointer color, and Padding.
Countdown Timer
Create urgency with a live countdown timer. This is part of FOMO marketing, which is ideal for sales, limited-time offers, or events like BFCM.
Drag the Countdown timer item into your form.
Set the end date and time (AM/PM).
Enable Turn off after the end date: Automatically disable the form when the timer expires.
Customize Font, Countdown color, and Padding.
The timer adjusts automatically to fit your form width on all devices.
Your website visitors will see the remaining time depending on when they interact with your signup form.
Discount Item
Add a discount code to your form's Success Message to reward new subscribers. The Discount item displays a coupon code automatically after form submission.
Important: The Discount item is only available in the Success Message, not in the main form layout. You cannot add it to the form itself, only to the message shown after a visitor subscribes.
Drag the Discount item from the left sidebar into the success message layout and:
Choose discount type:
Use Wheel of Fortune discount: the form will show the discount connected to your Wheel of Fortune winning slices.
Use your own discount: Type the discount you want to show to subscribers.
Customize Text color, Border color, Background color, and Padding.
FAQ
Why does my iPhone automatically zoom in when I tap on a form field?
iPhones zoom in if the font size is below 16 pixels. To prevent this, set your input field font size to at least 16px in Theme Settings → Fields.
How do I reorder items?
Drag items up or down in the Form Builder to change their order.
Can I style items individually?
Text, Button, Image, and Line/Space can be styled individually. Fields (Email, Phone, Input, Date) share global styles set in Theme Settings → Fields.
