Send and schedule WhatsApp messages via QuickReply.ai by triggering webhook events via Omnisend Automation workflows.

The use cases are mostly linked to sending/ scheduling WhatsApp messages to users. A few examples are:

  • Whenever a user signs up on the popup with a phone number - we will send that event to QuickReply.ai for scheduling the WhatsApp nurturing messages.

  • Whenever a user enters a unique segment - we will send that event to QuickReply.ai for scheduling the WhatsApp messages.

Setup Process

Step 1. Navigate first to Data Sources tab on the left-side panel in your QuickReply.ai account.

Step 2. There you would need to go to Webhooks tab → click "Create new webhook".

Step 3. Name it → activate and copy the URL.

Step 4. Then go to your Omnisend account → create custom flow → and there you need to add the Webhook block.

If you don't see a webhook block from your end, please make sure to reach out to [email protected] and we'll enable it for you.

Step 5. Add the webhook URL from QuickReply.ai to the URL field → and then in the body you can add info, which you would like to pass from Omnisend to QuickReply.ai via such webhook. Make sure to update and publish the flow at the end.

Our use case is that any new contacts added to our test segment → their emails and phone numbers will be passed over to QuickReply.ai. What data is available to be passed over to QuickReply.ai depends on your trigger.

Setting Up Your First Campaign

Step 1. You need to pass at least 1 user via webhook set above in order to continue. Go back to Data Sources at QuickReply.ai → Webhooks → click on your recently created webhook and you should see the list of users passed so far. Click on "+' sign to create an event.

Step 2. Skip "Set Filters" step and proceed to "Define & Map" step. There you need to map fields from Omnisend with fields in QuickReply.ai. Don't forget to save the changes when done.

Step 3. Click "Create campaign" on the success popup window or go to Campaigns tab manually on your left-side panel → click there "Create New Campaign" at the top right corner.

Step 4. Add your new event as a trigger there, as well as name your campaign and set a type (you can leave the pre-selected type).

Step 5. Then you need to set a template for your message.

You can also add some variables from the webhook from Omnisend to the body of your WhatsApp message, as well as attach some links.

And you can also set some other features.

For any additional information, please check QuickReply.ai help docs and or reach out to their support team directly at [email protected]

Step 6. You can leave last settings as they are, and don't forget to click "Save & Launch" at the end when done.

That's it, when someone enters a segment in our case, they will enter the flow → per webhook they will be passed to QuickReply.ai → and per event from this webhook, they will trigger the campaign and get a WhatsApp message, looking similar to this one.
