The Scratch card is a gamified item for Signup Forms. It lets visitors scratch a cover to reveal a discount while signing up.
In this article, you’ll learn how to add and customize a Scratch card in the Form Builder.
Before You Begin
Scratch card is available on the Pro plan only. Support for Standard plans through an add-on is coming soon.
Create a discount code in your store before configuring the Scratch card. Enter this code in the Scratch card settings so customers can use it at checkout.
Scratch card is not currently available in Signup Form templates or in forms generated by the Omnisend agent. Add it manually from the Form Builder. Support for templates and AI-generated forms is coming soon.
Add and Configure a Scratch Card
Step 1. Create or edit a Signup Form
Go to Forms and create a new Signup Form, or open an existing form in the Form Builder.
Step 2. Add the Scratch card item
From the left-side menu, drag the Scratch card item into your form layout.
Select the Scratch card item to open its settings in the right-side panel.
Step 3. Add a discount code
In the Scratch card settings, enter the discount code that customers will use at checkout.
Step 4. Upload the Scratch card image
Select the Scratch card item. In the right-side panel, click Upload image under Cover image. Choose the image visitors will see before they scratch the card.
Step 5. Customize the cover
The cover is the first view visitors see. To style it, open the Preview section and select Cover.
You can customize the following settings:
Width: Adjust the cover width.
Border color: Select a color or enter a hex code.
Border width: Adjust the border thickness.
Corner radius: Make the corners more or less rounded.
Step 6. Customize the prize
Select Prize in the Preview section to preview the revealed discount without scratching the card.
Open the Prize section and configure:
Prize text: Enter the message visitors see after scratching.
Font: Select the prize font.
Size: Set the prize text size.
Text color: Select a color or enter a hex code.
Prize background: Select a background color for the revealed prize.
Step 7. Configure the scratching experience
Open the Scratching section to control how visitors reveal the prize.
Brush size: Set the size of the area removed with each scratch.
Percentage to scratch: Set how much of the cover visitors must scratch to reveal the prize.
Step 8. Adjust padding
Open the Padding section and set the spacing around the Scratch card. You can adjust the padding for the top, bottom, left, and right sides.
Step 9. Save and enable the form
Review the Scratch card on desktop and mobile views.
When your Signup Form is ready, click Enable form.
💡 Visitors will see the cover first. They can scratch the card to reveal the prize and use the discount code at checkout.

Yes. Open Scratching and adjust Percentage to scratch.
Can I preview the prize without scratching the card?
Yes. In the Preview section, select Prize to style the revealed result without scratching.
