The Omnisend Dashboard gives you a complete view of your marketing performance and store activity. It includes three main sections:
Goals – A personalized checklist with recommended setup tasks.
Overview – Track sales performance and subscriber growth.
Live View – Monitor real-time website visitors, purchases, and customer activity.
This article explains how to navigate each section of your Dashboard and use Sales Performance and Audience Growth reports to monitor your store's success.
Before You Begin
New accounts see the Goals page as the default Dashboard view. After you send your first Email Campaign or SMS Campaign, the Dashboard switches to the Overview section as the default view.
The Dashboard Overview charts (Sales Performance and Audience Growth) are for visual analysis only and cannot be exported as CSV or downloaded. For detailed sales data exports, go to Reports → Sales/Campaigns/Automations and use the Export button or Print to PDF option.
For detailed campaign and automation metrics, see the Omnisend Reports guide.
Get Started With Your Dashboard
When you first create your Omnisend account, the Dashboard displays the Goals page – a personalized checklist that helps you complete essential setup tasks and discover features based on your account activity.
After you connect your store and send your first campaign, the Dashboard switches to the Overview section by default, showing Sales Performance and Audience Growth charts.
You can access Goals, Overview, and Live View anytime by clicking Dashboard in the main menu.
Dashboard Goals
The Goals section provides a personalized checklist to help you set up and optimize your Omnisend account.
💡 After you connect your store and complete initial setup tasks, the Dashboard switches to the Overview section (Sales Performance and Audience Growth), but you can still access Goals anytime from the Dashboard menu.
The Goals page evolves based on your account's progress and recommends features and best practices tailored to your setup. Typical goals include:
Connect your store.
Create your first Signup Form.
Send your first Email Campaign and set up Automation.
Optimize your account – New goals appear as you progress, recommending advanced features like A/B testing, link tracking, etc.
💡 Pro Tip: Check your Goals regularly to discover features you haven't tried yet.
Dashboard Overview
The Overview section displays your store's key metrics in interactive charts. You can:
Track total revenue, including revenue from Omnisend (Campaigns and Automations) and total store revenue.
Monitor subscriber growth across Email, SMS, and Push channels.
Compare performance across different date ranges (daily, weekly, monthly).
View trends with visual graphs and tooltips.
The Dashboard Overview provides a high-level snapshot. For detailed campaign metrics (open rates, click rates, individual reports), go to Reports.
New to Omnisend? If you haven't sent any campaigns yet, the Overview section will show empty charts. Complete the setup tasks in the Goals section to start populating your Dashboard with data.
Sales Performance
The Sales Performance section shows how much revenue your store is generating and how much of it comes from Omnisend marketing.
You can track:
Total revenue from Omnisend – Revenue generated by Email Campaigns, SMS Campaigns, and Automation (+ % comparison with the previous period).
Revenue from Campaigns – Revenue from Email and SMS Campaigns.
Revenue from Automation – Revenue from Automation.
Total store revenue – All revenue, including non-Omnisend sources.
Total orders placed – Switch the graph view to see order counts instead of revenue.
How comparison logic works:
When you select a date range (e.g., Last 30 Days), Omnisend compares it to the same length of time immediately before that period. For example:
Select Last 30 Days → compare it to the 30 days before that;
Hover over the comparison number to see the exact timeframe.
This comparison logic applies to all Omnisend reports.
💡 Click the View Reports button to access detailed Reports with campaign and automation performance data.
Audience Growth
The Audience Growth report shows how your subscriber base is growing or shrinking over time across Email, SMS, and Push channels.
You can track:
Custom date ranges – Choose any time period (last few days, weeks, or months) to review audience growth.
Multi-channel tracking – Growth is tracked separately for Email, SMS, and Push, with clear visibility into new subscriptions and unsubscribes.
Unsubscribe metric – See unsubscribe counts alongside new subscribers to understand churn.
Visual reporting – Graphs and trend lines give you a quick snapshot of growth dynamics, with tooltips showing change over two compared periods.
The Manage Forms button takes you directly to the Forms tab, where you can review your Signup Forms and build more engaging content for your store visitors.
💡 How to use Growth Audience data:
Spot growth trends and identify which channels are performing best.
Compare list growth over time to understand the impact of campaigns, Signup Forms, or seasonal events.
Detect churn early with unsubscribe tracking and optimize strategies to keep your audience engaged
Gain a complete picture of audience health to plan acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies
Dashboard Live View
The Live View section shows real-time activity on your website, including:
Visitors currently browsing your store.
Recent purchases and order details.
Activity timeline showing page views, cart additions, and purchases.
Live View helps you understand customer behavior as it happens, so you can identify trends, spot high-value customers, and optimize your marketing in real time.
