Manage Your Brand Assets

Learn how to manage your brand assets (logos, colors, and fonts) in Omnisend to maintain consistent branding.

Brand Assets are elements that make your brand identity unique and recognizable: your logo, colors, fonts, and social links. Once set up, Omnisend automatically applies them to new email templates, saving time and ensuring visual consistency across your Email Campaigns and Automation Workflows.

Before You Begin

  • Brand assets include your logo, colors, fonts (separate for body and titles), and social links.

  • You only need to set them up once; Omnisend will save the information for future use.

  • Brand assets are automatically applied to every new email template.

  • Brans' assets don't apply to previously saved email templates.

  • To use brand assets, create your email from scratch using a new template.

Setup Process

Step 1: Access Brand Assets

Go to Store Settings (bottom left corner) → Brand AssetsManage Brand Assets.

Step 2: Import or Add Manually

Option A: Import from Your Store (Recommended)

Click Import My Brand Assets to sync your logo, colors, and fonts from your online store (Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce). Review the preview to confirm accuracy, then click Save Brand Assets.

Option B: Add Assets Manually

Continue below to add logo, colors, fonts, and social links individually.

Adding Brand Assets Manually

Logo

To add your brand's logo, click on Select File Pick up the Logo file in the Image library. You can either Select it from the computer or Use the image from the URL.

💡 The recommended size is 600×200 px.

Once added, you can replace the logo at any time with an updated version or remove it entirely.

Colors

Choose your brand’s colors:

  • Accent: Appears in CTA buttons, links, and highlights;

  • Dark: Text and headings;

  • Light: Backgrounds and subtle accents.

To select a color, you can:

  • Click the color icon to choose from the default options, or;

  • Add a custom color, click the plus (+) icon to open the color palette. Pick the color you need or enter a hex value, then click Add color.

💡 You can also type the hex color code directly into the field next to each color option.

Fonts

Set default fonts for two areas:

  • Headings: Large, bold text (e.g., section titles);

  • Paragraph & Footnote: Body text and small print.

To select a font, click the Fonts dropdown under Headings or Paragraph & Footnote → Choose from system or web fonts → Click Save Brand Assets.

💡 If a recipient’s email client doesn’t support your selected font, Omnisend will automatically apply a fallback. To ensure consistent appearance, always preview your form in popular inboxes (like Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook). Learn about email-safe fonts.

Custom Fonts

Want to use your brand's unique font in emails and forms? You can upload custom fonts to Omnisend in just a few steps.

Note: Custom fonts display correctly only on supported email clients and browsers. On unsupported devices, Omnisend automatically uses the fallback font you select.

Step 1: Open Font Settings
Under Fonts, click the drop-down menu to view available fonts. Click Manage Fonts at the bottom of the list.

Step 2: Upload Your Font
In the pop-up window, drag and drop your font file or browse your computer to upload it.

Important: You must confirm that you have the legal rights, licenses, and permissions to use the font.

Supported font file formats: .WOFF (Web Open Font Format), .WOFF2, .TTF (TrueType Font), .OTF (OpenType Font), .EOT (Embedded OpenType).

Step 3: Confirm and Add Font
After uploading, check the confirmation box and click Add Font. Your font will appear in the uploaded font list.

Step 4: Set a Fallback Font
Choose a fallback font for browsers or email clients that don't support custom fonts. Click Finish, then Save Brand Assets to apply.

A confirmation message will appear. Your custom font is now available under Brand Fonts and ready to use in Email Campaigns, Automation Workflows, and Signup Forms.

Email Client Support for Custom Fonts

Email & Form Templates

Brand Assets are automatically applied when using templates from the Template Library. Here’s how they work across different template types:

  • Email Templates:

    • Automation Workflows: Brand Assets are applied automatically.

    • Email Campaigns: When selecting a template, check the box for Branded to use templates that automatically apply your saved brand assets.

  • Form Templates: When creating a new form, check the box for Branded forms to apply your Brand Assets to the design.

Important:

  • Brand Assets apply only to new templates created from the library.

  • Saved custom templates do not auto-update. To apply Brand Assets, create a new template from scratch.

FAQ

If I want to apply changes to a single email or form template, do I use brand assets?

Brand Assets are applied globally to all new Email and Form templates. If you want to customize a single template without affecting others, edit that template directly. All other templates will continue to use the Brand Assets defined in Store Settings.

Why is my old logo still showing the old logo after I updated Brand Assets?

Brand assets only apply to new emails created from the template library. If you're using a saved template or automation, the old logo will remain. To fix this, manually remove and re-add the Logo element to your email.

Can I use custom fonts in my email campaigns?

Yes. Custom fonts uploaded via Brand Assets are supported in Email Campaigns, Automation Workflows, and Signup Forms.

Keep in mind that custom fonts only display on supported email clients (such as Apple Mail, iOS Mail, Samsung Mail, and Thunderbird). On unsupported clients (like Gmail or Outlook), your contacts will see the fallback font you selected.

Troubleshooting: Make sure you've selected a fallback font when uploading your custom font. Without a fallback, unsupported email clients may default to system fonts that don't match your brand. Learn which email clients support custom fonts.
