Brand assets are elements that make your brand identity unique and recognizable. With Brand assets, you can set the brand's default logos, colors, social links, and fonts. Once added, we'll automatically apply your brand assets to emails that support them.
Before you begin
Brand assets are default: logo, colors, fonts (separate body and title), and social links.
You need to set up Brand assets only once; all data will be saved for further usage.
Every email template will be populated with the selected assets.
Currently, form templates do not utilize the brand assets' functionality; they only apply to email templates.
Brand assets won't apply to your saved templates. If you want to apply Brand assets, you need to create the email from scratch.
Setup process
You set up your Brand Assets by accessing Store settings in the bottom left corner → Brand Assets. Here, you can manage brand assets: set logos, colors, social links, and fonts. Click Manage Brand Assets to update your store assets.
Click Import My Brand Assets to automatically sync them from your online store 🪄
Logo
If you wish to set up your assets manually, you can still do it. To add your brand's logo, click on Select File → Pick up the Logo file in the Image library. You can either Select it from the computer or Use the image from the URL.
Once added, you can always replace your logo with an updated version or remove it.
Colors
Pick up your brand's Accent, Dark and Light colors that will be automatically applied in all email templates. You can pick from some of the default colors by clicking on the color icon.
Click on the plus icon to add your own color from the color palette → pick the color you need or type in hex → click Add color.
You can also type in the hex color value next to each color field 💡
Fonts
Here, you can set up the default font for Headings and Paragraph & Footnote text fields. All content blocks that have text fields will apply the selected font automatically.
💡 Don't forget that if the customer's device does not support the font, it will be replaced with an email-safe fallback option. Read more about Email Safe Fonts.
Custom fonts
Want to use your brand's unique font in Forms?
Follow these simple steps to upload a custom font to Omnisend.
Please note that using custom fonts is not yet available in the Email builder; currently, it's only supported in the form builder. Stay tuned for updates.
Step 1. Under Fonts, click the drop-down menu to view available fonts. You'll see a list of system and web fonts, plus a button labeled Manage Fonts. Click Manage Fonts.
Step 2. Upload Your Font. A popup window will appear. Drag and drop your font file here, or click to browse your computer.
✅ Important: You must confirm that you have the legal rights, licenses, and permissions to use this font.
Step 3. Confirm and Add Font. After uploading, confirm your rights and click Add Font. You’ll see your uploaded font listed below the upload area.
Step 4. Set a Fallback Font. Choose a fallback font (for inboxes that don’t support custom fonts). Click Finish to complete the process. Click Save Brand Assets.
All done! A confirmation message will appear. Your new font will now show up under Brand Fonts and can be used in the Form Builder.
🧪 Tip: Always preview your email with custom fonts in popular inboxes (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook) to confirm appearance and fallback behavior.
Social links
Add your social links by clicking Add social link → Select the needed social network from the dropdown menu → Paste or type in a link to your social media page.
The social platforms list includes:
Linkedin;
Facebook;
Instagram;
Pinterest;
TikTok;
Snapchat;
Youtube;
Twitter;
Spotify;
Email;
Soundcloud;
Medium;
Vimeo;
Google+;
Tumblr;
Website/Other links.
Important: Only a single link can be added per one social platform field.
Once you select all assets, click Save Brand Assets to finalize the results.
Updating current brand assets
You will be able to update your brand assets anytime directly from the Store settings tab.
Click Manage Brand Assets to import the brand assets directly from your store and update your current branding or manually set them up.
Email templates
Once you save your Brand Assets, you can navigate to creating an email campaign or automation with all the assets automatically applied.
When selecting any template from the Template library, you'll see the brand's colors, fonts, and logo applied automatically.
Applying brand identity assets to each email you send will help you brand your products successfully. All emails will have a distinct look and style, create an emotional response, and make it clear to the recipient what your company offers. Great marketing is impossible without proper branding 😉.
FAQ
If I want to apply changes to a single email or form template, do I use brand assets?
Brand assets are applied to all your Email and Form templates. If you need to apply changes to a single template, you should edit that template only; all the other templates will keep the brand assets applied as set in Store Settings.
