Setup Process

To integrate Omnisend with Zipify Pages, you need to generate an API key in Omnisend. Check this guide API Key in your Omnisend account. Once the API key is created, copy it to your clipboard.

Then go to your Zipify Pages account and open the Settings tab. Under the Settings tab select CRMs section and find Omnisend. Paste the API key and click 'Connect' button:

Once it's done, you'll need to select Omnisend as your CRM in all the Forms you have in your Zipify pages. If you don't have any Forms on your pages built with Zipify, you'll need to add one:

Then click on the 'Submit' button in your form and under the Form Options pick CRM Settings:

CRM Settings menu will appear. Firstly, select Omnisend as your CRM. Then you can add custom tags that will be passed with all the contacts collected by this form to Omnisend. Also, you can add other contact fields to your form here. Once all the settings finalized click the 'Save' button:

That's it! Any contacts submitted via this form will be passed to Omnisend.

What data is synced

All the new contacts collected via your Zipify Pages Forms will be passed to Omnisend with these fields (if data isn't collected by your form, it won't be passed):

  • First name;

  • Last name;

  • Email address (subscribed status);

  • Email opt-in date;

  • Phone number (subscribed status;

  • SMS opt-in date;

  • any custom tags that you have added in the CRM Settings menu

Here's an example contact passed by Zipify Pages:

Welcome emails/SMS for Zipify Pages subscribers

To send welcome emails/SMS to contacts passed from Zipify Pages, first of all, you'll need to add a unique tag to all the contacts passed to Omnisend (e.g. 'source: zipify pages').

Then create a segment based on this tag in Omnisend:

Then create Welcome automation by going to the Automation tab ➡️ New Workflow ➡️ Welcome. You can copy your Welcome automation if you already have one and would like to use the same workflow for Poptin subscribers.

Then switch the Signup trigger to Contact enters a segment. Set the segment that you've created on the first step, as a trigger filter.

Edit the workflow to send email and/or SMS and click 'Start workflow':
