Releasit is a 3rd party app that provides tools to set up an easy-to-use order form for Cash on Delivery, so that your customers can order with COD without the complicated steps of Shopify checkout.

Go to the Omnisend App Market and search for Releasit COD Form & Upsells or you can simply open this page:

Once you're on the Releasit COD Form & Upsells integration page, click the 'Connect now' button:

The API key will be generated automatically. Copy it and proceed to the Integrately account, but don't click the 'Confirm' button and don't close the page yet.

Then go to your Releasit account -> Setting & Integrations -> General -> Enable abandoned orders:

A new options will appear on your screen, click 'Enable Omnisend' and paste the API key into the corresponding field. Make sure to click the 'Send test event' button and Save the changes:

Now go back to the Releasit COD Form & Upsells page in the Omnisend App Market and click the 'Confirm' button:

That's it! The integration is enabled and new abandoned carts collected by Releasit will be synced to Omnisend.

Once the integration is enaled, a new custom event will be created in Omnisend:

Note! Abandoned orders are only created if the customer entered a valid email or phone number after 15 minutes from abandonment.

Use this event to set up a workflow and send Abandoned Cart emails that will redirect to Releasit Cash-on-Delivery form. We suggest you add Placed Order exit condition too, in case customer will finish the order before the email is sent out. Also, set the delay which you think would be appropriate to remind customer about a COD form and abandoned order.

Also, make sure to add the URL passed by Releasit that will redirect customers to the Cash-on-Delivery form that they've abandoned. To do this add a button to the email content and insert the recovery_url personalisation tag as shown on the screenshot below:

Is it possible to send SMS/Push Notifications to remind customers about the COD form they've abandoned? Releasit only passes the email address to Omnisend. So, unless the same customer who abandons the COD form has been in the Omnisend Audience with email/SMS/Push Notification contact details prior to this COD form abandon, it's not possible.
