We are now providing updated Advanced Campaign and Workflow Reports for new Omnisend accounts. These reports offer valuable insights to help you track and optimize your campaigns and workflows effectively.

These reports will be gradually rolled out to all Omnisend customers in the future.

These new reports are available for:

  • New accounts on all non-ICP platforms and custom integrations that are connected to Omnisend starting from the 28th of June, 2024.

  • New accounts on Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce that are connected to Omnisend starting from the 26th of July, 2024.

The new advanced reports in Omnisend provide enhanced reporting capabilities, enabling a comprehensive analysis of campaigns and workflows across multiple channels (Email, SMS, Push).

These reports are designed to help you understand the effectiveness of your marketing efforts, optimize your strategies, and achieve better results.

Please note that Advanced Reporting is available for the Pro plan only.

Benefits

  • Unified Interface. There is a single page for both campaigns and workflows, allowing you to choose which to analyze by selecting the appropriate filter.

  • Expanded Reporting Capabilities. View data for all three channels (Email, SMS, Push) together or separately. Detailed metrics for conversions, revenue, SMS costs, and more.

  • Improved Data Access. There is no longer an 18-month data limit; you can now view historical data for any custom date range.

  • New Metrics. Placed order rate, total SMS costs, and more. Metrics for refunds and cancellations will be introduced later in 2024.

  • Enhanced Performance Reporting. Better segment performance reporting with all metrics in a single table view. The campaign performance report now shows all sent campaigns.

Step 4. Analyze Data. Review the metrics and trends provided to understand the performance of your campaigns or workflows.

Advanced Campaigns Reports

The Campaigns Report offers an in-depth view of your campaigns' performance across all channels (Email, SMS, Push).

You can filter, sort, and analyze data to understand the effectiveness of your marketing strategy.

Performance Data

  • Placed Order Rate: Percentage of sent messages that generated attributed placed orders.

  • Revenue: Total value of all attributed placed orders, including refunded and/or canceled orders.

  • Total SMS Cost: Total cost of all SMS messages sent.

Delivery & Engagement

  • Messages Sent: Number of sent messages.

  • Delivery Rate: Percentage of sent messages that were successfully delivered.

  • Unsubscribe Rate: Percentage of sent messages that resulted in unsubscribes.

  • Marked as Spam Rate: Percentage of sent messages that were marked as spam (email channel only).

Trends

View trends over time for messages sent, revenue, open rate, and click rate.

  • Data can be aggregated and viewed:

    • Daily: For when the selected period in the report is up to 31 days.

    • Weekly: For when the selected period in the report is up to 1 year.

    • Monthly: For when the selected period in the report is up to 5 years.

    • Quarterly: For all periods.

    • Yearly: For all periods.

  • Open rate trends are available for Email and Push channels only.

Segment Performance

  • Detailed metrics for each segment that received at least one campaign during the selected period.

  • Metrics include messages sent, delivery rate, failed delivery rate, marked as spam rate, unsubscribe rate, open rate, click rate, placed order rate, and revenue.

  • Sort segments by any column to easily see the top/least performing ones.

When a contact falls under multiple segments, we count their actions once for each segment. As a result, combined segments may see higher totals than campaign totals.

Campaign Performance

Sort the campaign performance table by any metric to identify the top and least performing campaigns.

  • Campaign Type: Filter campaigns by type (Email, SMS, Push, A/B test).

  • Channels: Select which channels to include in the report (selected when adding filters to the report).

  • Timeframe: Choose from predefined time buckets (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days) or set a custom date range (selected when adding filters to the report).
