At Omnisend, our teams develop the product regularly, and new features and improvements are released weekly.

This article contains essential information about the recent releases, which will help you optimize your marketing with Omnisend even further.


Campaigns

Recently Viewed Product Recommendations

You can now add Recently Viewed Products to your Campaign emails, not just Automations. That means you can personalize one-off sends like newsletters, promos, and seasonal offers based on your customers’ browsing behavior.

  • Available now on Pro plan.

  • Show each contact what they last browsed.

  • Boost relevance and clicks in regular campaigns.

  • If you schedule a campaign with this feature and later downgrade, fallback recommendations will be displayed instead.

Tip: Use this block near the top of your email, just below the intro. It's one of the best-performing ways to personalize campaigns.


Forms

Custom Fonts in Forms

You can now upload your own fonts via Brand Assets and apply them directly in signup forms.

What’s new

  • Previously limited to system fonts.

  • Now fully brand-aligned typography.

  • Available for all accounts using Forms.

Forms now feel like a true extension of your store, improving visual consistency and professional appearance.


Segmentation

Sync your Shopify segments with Omnisend

You can now sync customer segments directly from Shopify into Omnisend –automatically. This is one of the fastest ways to turn your Shopify store logic into smart, targeted marketing.

  • Import segments without manual recreation.

  • Updates sync hourly.

  • Save time and reduce targeting errors.

Favorite your key segments

Keep your most important segments at the top of your list by marking them as favorites.

  • Speed up access to your top audiences.

  • Helps prevent mistakes in large accounts with many segments.

AOV & Total Spent filters

If you’re a new Omnisend user, you’ll find Average Order Value and Total Spent filters available in your segmentation.

  • Build high-value customer groups faster.

  • No need to contact support.

  • Perfect for loyalty, upsell, and win-back strategies.

Note: Existing accounts can still request filter activation via support chats.


Ecommerce Integrations

SMS consent checkbox at checkout in WooCommerce

You can now collect SMS marketing consent during checkout alongside your email opt-in. This helps grow your SMS list from one of your highest-converting touchpoints – your checkout flow.

  • A separate checkbox for SMS opt-in. 

  • Customers can choose email only, SMS only, or both. 

  • Customizable consent message via your Omnisend plugin settings. 


Deliverability

TFN verification improvements

If you’re verifying a Toll-Free Number (TFN) for SMS, you’ll now see clear guidance when something goes wrong.

  • Detailed error messages.

  • In-modal guidance for screenshot uploads.

  • It helps you fix issues faster and with less trial and error.


Other Updates

Improved Reviews export experience

If you're moving to another review platform like Judge.me, Loox, or Yotpo, you can now export your Product Reviews more easily.

  • Export multiple times – no daily limit.

  • Download in supported formats for top platforms.


Integrations

New App: Dollarback – Cashback & Loyalty

You’ll now find Dollarback in the App Market — a cashback-based loyalty app built for Shopify.

  • Reward customers with instant store credit instead of confusing points.

  • One-click redemption at checkout.

  • Flexible rules, fully customizable.

  • Drives higher repeat purchases and AOV.

New API v5 endpoints for Automations & Campaigns

We’ve added two new read-only endpoints to Omnisend’s public API:

  • GET /v5/automations: returns all automations with ID, name, status, and update date.

  • GET /v5/campaigns: same for campaigns.

  • If you’re building external dashboards or custom workflows, this gives you structured access to your automation and campaign inventory.
