Omnisend for Ecwid connects your Ecwid store to Omnisend, so you can use your store data to segment contacts, automate marketing messages, recover abandoned carts, and more.
Before You Begin
If you already have an Omnisend account with a different store connected, you need to create a new empty store first. Follow this step-by-step guide to register a new store under an existing account, then continue with the steps below.
If you don't have an Omnisend account, create one here.
Omnisend billing is managed within your Omnisend account, not through the Ecwid App Market.
Connect Your Ecwid Store
Step 1. Log in to your Omnisend account and click Connect your store in the Dashboard.
Step 2. Select Ecwid as your platform.
Step 3. Click Copy API Key, and then click Add Omnisend app.
Step 4. You'll be redirected to the Omnisend app within Ecwid. Log in to your Ecwid store and click Get.
Step 5. Enter the API key in the Omnisend app for Ecwid and click Save.
You should see a success message confirming the connection.
You'll then be prompted to add your Brand Assets. After completing that step, you'll land on the Dashboard page. Your Ecwid store is now connected to Omnisend.
💡 Tip: After connecting, any active Omnisend signup forms will start displaying on your Ecwid store. To control where forms appear, go to Forms in your Omnisend dashboard, open the relevant form, and review the Targeting settings. If a form appears in an unexpected location, adjust the display rules or temporarily disable it.
What Features Are Supported
Once connected, you can use the following Omnisend features with your Ecwid store.
These Automation workflows: Order Confirmation, Cancellation Confirmation, Birthday, Welcome Email, Contact Enters/Exits Segment, Browse Abandonment, Product Abandonment, and Abandoned Cart & Abandoned Checkout.
Segmentation. Most segmentation filters are available.
What Data Is Passed from Ecwid to Omnisend
When you connect your store, the following data is synced from Ecwid to your Omnisend account.
Products. With Ecwid, you can sell physical goods, digital files, and services.
Orders. Orders placed in your store after the integration is connected are synced to Omnisend.
Carts. Your Ecwid store passes a list of abandoned carts to Omnisend.

Can I connect my Ecwid store to an existing Omnisend account?
Yes. If your Omnisend account already has a different store connected, you can either:
Register a new store under your existing account first. Follow the Managing Multiple Stores guide, or
Reach out to our support team to disconnect the existing store before connecting your Ecwid store.
If your account has no existing connection, you can proceed directly with the steps above.
